Very Poor Service – No Contact, Unsafe Deliveries
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Direct Freight Express. On two separate occasions, when no one was home, the delivery drivers simply left my parcels outside the building—in clearly insecure spots—without making any attempt to contact me. The most recent incident resulted in my package being stolen. When I contacted your support team, I was told it wasn’t the driver’s fault because no signature was required and there were no instructions to deliver to a safe place. This lack of basic responsibility and common sense is unacceptable. This is not the level of service I expect, especially when compared to Australia Post, which consistently offers excellent customer support. If no one answers the door, they either attempt to call the customer or take the parcel to the nearest post office, ensuring it’s secure and that the recipient will not suffer any loss. I strongly urge Direct Freight Express to adopt similar protocols and to ensure drivers are trained to contact recipients or leave packages in safe, designated areas—not simply abandon them in unsafe spots.
