Easy but thorough process. I called and was quickly put through to an agent. The whole process was explained to me as we went along and I always felt at my ease. I will definitely be using cruise1st again to book my next cruise. They were also the cheapest amongst several cruise agents that I could find
Mikey was great he called us back as he said he would and was dealing with all 7 of us on the phone at the same time and making 5 separate bookings. He was helpful and pleasant and kept his cool when all questions being thrown at him . A good experience for us.
Booked a cruise through cruise first for the msc virtuoso departing Southampton on the 13/07/2024. Our party of five without drinks package total cost £10,300. We decided that we want to add of drinks package but told we have to cancel and rebook which we would lose our £600 deposit.
Cruise 1st quoted me £10,900 for the same holiday with drinks package but I can not amend my original booking.
So dissatisfied with this option and felt really let down by msc and cruise 1st.
Always get a great service when enquiring or booking a cruise, but, the Customer Service team are always fabulous if you have a problem to sort out. Thank You.
Take the 'used condom on the floor' hotel or pay extra ???
I would never recommend for anyone to book a hotel at the end of the cruise with this company all of the ones they have connections with are awful, just google Night Hotel Broadway in New York read the reviews and tell me that that's something this company should be selling. I don't think so! Had to pay extra just for a half-decent hotel! Besides from that, we have spoken to numerous customer service agents over the phone over the days Calvin was a little rude and I didn't want to talk to overall sounded like he wanted to wack me just for mentioning what they had sent us was a disgrace and they want us to pay not to stay there, however, we then spoke to Kevin who was lovely in the matter and spent nearly an hour finding us a hotel in our budget and that was better than on sleeping on the subway floor. He did inform us that one of the hotels we were offered shouldn't be sold by them anymore, which was a little worrying, Kevin was the only one we'd spoken to that actually seemed to know what he was doing. Just book everything separately cruise/flights/hotel we have learnt the lesson that what you think is going to be less stressful is just more. Overall mid review it's not bad not good, don't think we'll use it again as many people have said once that money is in their hands all care goes out the window, If we hadn't looked up the reviews and were forced to stay there this would be getting a 0*. But if you are ever bored and need a good giggle read the reviews on night hotel broadway new york 94th Street and tell me if you had a company as big as this one would you offer this hotel. I wouldn't even let my dog stay there, now we're more money down but at least our heath shouldn't be in jeopardy. Have a fab day :)
Watched Derek on cruise 1st TV and was very pleased to see a bargain QM2 to New York and 5 days stay in a hotel and flight back to the UK £1249.
So went to the website and yes the deal was there so booked online and we were very excited only to receive a phone call 30 mins later to say the price had gone by £470,you should have kept the price I paid as advertised so cancelled and booked with Iglu cruise.

At this stage, the cancellation would result in a loss of the deposit of £200.00 plus a Cruise 1st cancellation fee of £75, which needs to be paid before we can process your request.
You can make payment by calling 0161 332 0008 – lines open 9 am till 4 pm Monday-Friday.
Once the payment is made, please reply to this email so we can cancel. Once the booking has been processed, we are unable to reinstate it.
