I was trying to find a property for my first rental, and moving as far as from the north west to the south coast my experience with Charters, in particular estate agent Lily, made this stress free and easy. I was able to find my perfect first home, highly recommend Charters if you’re looking for a property to rent or buy!!
Was super anxious going into this process, but Holly has been wonderful! She’s attentive and knowledgeable, and has been there for every question I’ve had responding personally and quickly.
We received excellent, attentive and friendly service from the Gosport branch - and good recommendations for possible properties. We were shown around several properties by Maya Jorgensen, who was friendly and kind as well as professional!
It was a pleasure to have Maya helping us with our search for a new home. She was always helpful and engaging, nothing was too much trouble.

Charters is the best when it comes to renting,letting property.i am very much happy with the property i got from charters by Simon Loftus..great guy..it was my first time to rent a property and he was very patient to help me all the steps till the day i moved in,after we moved in,we could not top up electricity and water,he drove all the way to fix it..thank you simon..keep up the great work..All the guys are great and smartly dressed,Never had a single problem with those guys..Cheers again to Simon Loftus.

We are truly grateful for Cameron. Even though we have sold our property through a different agent, Cameron has been so helpful with helping us find our next property. He contacted us to view the property our offer has been accepted on. Had he not called we would not have viewed it as it was just outside of our budget. Cameron convinced us to give it a view and advised it doesn’t hurt to look and see what the vendor thinks of our offer. Cameron has done is upmost to secure this property for us, with our offer being accepted today. I can not fault the communication we’ve had with had with Cameron and Charters has been perfect.

Went for a viewing of a flat today with Zoe Cook ( Havant branch ) lovely lady so polite and helpful showed me around answered every question I had to ask guided me through it step by step quick response with emails even sending me another flat in the same block that has come on the market Very professional really happy with my experience today with Zoe Will definitely be recommending Charters in the future

Charters- Park Gate have been wonderful since the moment I looked around my first property with them. Starting with Kerry who put up with my whole family descending on her for the viewings (!), to the wonderful negotiations that Johnathan did which secured me an accepted offer and finally with Storme going above and beyond and squeezing me in to show me around the property for a second time at the end of a VERY hot day. Don’t know about other branches, but the Southampton branch didn’t give us a good experience. When we were doing house viewings, the first agent assigned to us was very responsive to emails. But after we decided to rent a property, the new agent assigned never replies to emails unless we give her a call, and it usually takes me 2-3 days non-stop trying to get a hold of her. Her line is either busy for 3 hours continuously or she’s not available for whatever reason. Our lease is about to start in a few days and we have been calling the agent for some days now and no hope in reaching her. We were told to call another day since it’s student moving in season, we complied and called another day, and ridiculously we were told that she has a meeting all day and we need to wait for a call back, which never came. It’s always the same saying “we’ve sent her a follow up email” “we have told her to give you a call back”, and not one time she responded or called back. We can’t even get a hold of her direct number, we only get a general branch number. We don’t know if this is a branch communication issue or that individual agent’s issue but this is unacceptable.

I highly recommend this company. I went for a home viewing a couple of days back, and the staff that attended to me (Lily) was very pleasant and warm to me, answering all my many questions with great enthusiasm and knowledge.
