It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

Terrible experience with Centauro in Corfu. During my rental, I had a vehicle breakdown and instead of receiving assistance, I was told at the office that my contract had been cancelled without my consent, due to an administrative error. Apparently, they confused my reservation with another customer's. The worst part: I was charged €840, supposedly for damages, without receiving any technical report, cost breakdown, or justification. I’ve requested explanations and documentation multiple times via their contact form and received no clear response. I feel completely unprotected as a customer. No proper customer service, no transparency, no accountability. I have already initiated a complaint with consumer authorities and the European Consumer Centre. I will not rent from Centauro again and I do not recommend them at all.

We’ve always flown to Murcia airport and booked Centauro through the Ryan air website. The staff there are wonderful; friendly, helpful and not pushy. We’ve never had a problem. We flew to Alicante in June and again, booked Centauro based on previous experiences; never again! I’d paid for an annual waiver policy through RAC before our trip. We arrived in Alicante, went to the centauro desk where the male customer representative wasn’t pleasant, compared to the standards of service we receive in Murcia. He asked if we wanted the extra cover at €26 per day, and I declined. He was quite abrupt in his response, gave me the key and said there’s some damage to the passenger door. Didn’t give me any paperwork and told me whereabouts the car was parked. Both myself and my husband took photos and videos, focusing on the damage to the door. After our holiday, we returned the car, full of fuel and took the key into the office. I passed the key to the male behind the desk and asked if he would come and check over the car. He turned round and pointed to a box on the cabinet behind him and said there’s a box full of keys to cars we need to check, asked if the car was full and said the refund will be sorted. On return to the uk I checked my bank account to see that not only have they kept the deposit for the fuel, have taken a further €225 a grand total of €300!!! On checking my centauro account they have charged me for the damage to the passenger door which was already there. I tried to call the customer service centre and kept getting cut off. I sent an email, included the photographs and pdf copies of the documents and I have heard nothing back from them. I have now had to raise a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Hence, I won’t be using Alicante Centauro car hire ever again! Absolute fraudsters!!!
Staff were efficient and surprisingly very nice.offered a free upgrade and deposit for fuel was returned the same day I returned the vehicle.
I have used Centauro numerous times and have always found there staff to be professional, courteous and helpful, with no 'hard sell' for their own insurance, which is always nice. Every car I have had has been above expectation and always in good condition, clean and tidy. Pick up and drop off has always been a breeze and I will keep using Centauro going forward, for all the reasons listed above.
Bene la macchina e la gestione del noleggio. Per niente bene il fatto che mi hanno trattenuto la cauzione di 1400e sulla carta per oltre 20 giorni senza neanche rispondere alle segnalazioni
Para no repetir. Los empleados de la oficina Barcelona Sants bastante agresivos e amenazantes, diciendo que "mejor contratar un seguro" que ya había contratado por Booking. El coche ok, pero luego al devolver "no hay personal" para revisar, por lo que te reciben las llaves y "si está todo bien" te devuelven la fianza y el depósito de gasolina (88€ que te cobran por adelantado). El sr. del mostrador muy mal educado, ante mi pregunta sobre devolver la fianza, ya que me ha dicho que tardan "hazta 30 días" en devolver. Devolver? Pero si sólo hay que cancelar la autorización... Me preguntó si hablo bien el castellano... En fin, evitar esta empresa por poco sérios.
Rekenen extra kosten aan zonder deze te verantwoorden. Volle tank niet geretourneerd. Ontwijken!
Hände weg!!! Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet. Bei der Abholung sehr unfreundlich, vor allem als wir ihre angebotene Versicherung nicht nahmen. Da blieb bei uns schon ein ungutes Gefühl zurück… (Wir hatten ja eine Versicherung bereits extra im Internet genommen, da es dort beim Abschluss nicht angeboten wurde.) Bei der Rückgabe hieß es, das Autoschloss sei aufgebrochen worden. Nur niemand hatte etwas entwendet. Es war auch rein gar nichts im Auto…… Fraglich ist nun, wurde das Auto wirklich aufgebrochen oder war das Schloss bereits demoliert oder wurde nachträglich demoliert…. Man sieht von außen fast nichts. Es ist oder wäre uns nie aufgefallen!!! Jedenfalls sind wir jetzt über € 400 zusätzlich los und haben bur Scherereien…. Nachdem ich die Bewertungen im Inet zu dieser Firma gelesen habe zusammen mit dem komischen Gefühl kann ich mir alles Mögliche vorstellen……… Ich würde bei dieser Firma jedenfalls nicht mehr buchen und es waren auch nur wenige Leute immer drinnen im „Geschäft“, da andere wahrscheinlich die Bewertungen vorher gelesen haben!!!!!
Still waiting for money to be returned…. Hired a car from Alicante airport for 5 days. Service at airport seemless. Car had several marks, and a large dent that was evidenced with photos and a video of the car before leaving the airport car park. Returned the car an hour early with a full tank of fuel. Asked the man at the drop off office to check the car over as I was worried about the damage on collection, to be told he was too busy and he tried to reassure me that all damage was recorded prior to my hire. The same day they charged me €300. No justification on the invoice for this. The only way to raise a concern is email, then to be told it takes 12-14 days for them to respond. The money they have wrongly taken is required for me to pay bills etc. I have no idea when or if this money will be returned. This should not be allowed. I travel to Spain every month, use car hire each time. I won’t use nor recommend Centauro to anyone. Very upsetting and disappointing experience.
