Still waiting for money to be…
Still waiting for money to be returned…. Hired a car from Alicante airport for 5 days. Service at airport seemless. Car had several marks, and a large dent that was evidenced with photos and a video of the car before leaving the airport car park. Returned the car an hour early with a full tank of fuel. Asked the man at the drop off office to check the car over as I was worried about the damage on collection, to be told he was too busy and he tried to reassure me that all damage was recorded prior to my hire. The same day they charged me €300. No justification on the invoice for this. The only way to raise a concern is email, then to be told it takes 12-14 days for them to respond. The money they have wrongly taken is required for me to pay bills etc. I have no idea when or if this money will be returned. This should not be allowed. I travel to Spain every month, use car hire each time. I won’t use nor recommend Centauro to anyone. Very upsetting and disappointing experience.
