It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

My overall experience with this company could have been 4 stars even 5 if I hadn’t had to wait over 2 hours to get the car. However, I’m forced to give just 1 star because I was charged twice on my Mastercard, effectively paying double the amount I should have. I contacted the company by email and provided all the necessary documentation, including pictures and proof of the double charge. Unfortunately, I never received a reply. That level of customer service is simply not acceptable or professional. I genuinely hope someone from the company will see this message and get in touch with me through this website to resolve the issue.

Tried to pay for a reservation, payment didn't go through. Tried a second time, same issue. When I checked my credit card, 3 pending payments for this company. Reservation was never finalised as their website said payment didn't go through. This cannot happen if you are a respectable company. I am just shocked companies like CarRental8 or SkyScanner are still showing their cars.

This company is scum - I've been waiting since 9th of June for a refund they charged for fictitious damage that they admitted that they lied about (document video and email proof)

Ritiro dell'auto effettuato nell'agenzia dell'aeroporto di Malaga alle 23 passate, servizio navetta comodo. Ci è stata consegnata la chiave dell'auto che si trovava nel parcheggio completamente buio senza nessun tipo di assistenza e senza la possibilità di controllare lo stato della carrozzeria e di documentarla con foto. Alla riconsegna l'addetto si dirige immediatamente nella zona dell'auto ( paraurti anteriore sinistro) dove riscontra la presenza di un microscopico graffio davvero invisibile e probabilmente pre esistente ( siamo state davvero super attente ) Finale, 270 € ( 270!!!) trattenuti dal deposito Che dire, sconsigliatissimo, nei miei numerosi viaggi non mi era mai capitato e forse il fatto che eravamo due donne non ha aiutato

Vorsicht bei Visa-Karte Vorsicht – ziemlich unseriös! Da auf der Visa-Karte nicht der Name des Inhabers stand, wurde die Karte zunächst nicht akzeptiert. Erst bei Zuzahlung einer Zusatzversicherung von 300,00 EUR hat man die Karte akzeptiert. Das ist schlichtweg eine Erpressung von Zusatzzahlungen von Centauro.

I rented a car from Centauro at Chania Airport in Crete from June 13th to June 24th. At the time of rental I was forced to pay EUR 110 for fuel, with the promise that it would be refunded when the car was returned full of petrol. I did return the car full of petrol, and have been awaiting the refund. I have now been charged an additional EUR 70k by Centauro on my credit card, with no notification of what this was for or any form of invoice. When I rang the Chania office to question this, I was advised that I have been charged EUR 180 for 'damage to a hubcap', and this has been deducted by Centauro via the fuel payment and the additional credit card charge. To be clear, there was no evidence of any damage presented to myself or my wife (who was a paid co driver). After the car had been driven away by Centauro after we returned it, one of the staff came up to my wife and showed a photo of a damaged hubcap which did not identify the car. When my wife asked to see the damage, the staff refused and then said not to worry about it. They have then charged my credit card and ignored my written complaints. Avoid them at all costs.

Massive extra deposit added at collection. We booked a car from Faro airport and were charged about 100E including insurance in advance. Then when we collected the car we were given a choice of a 1200E deposit or a 300E one which was non refundable. Got a refund of £120 - we didn’t use any tolls or do any damage.
