It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.

una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.

Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

I have used this company for a number of years now, but over time I have found it increasingly difficult to get in touch with anyone when I have an issue. My latest was my car broke down on the 2nd day of a 4 day mini break, it took me over an hour and at least 4 calls in Spain before I could speak to anyone in break down. The issue was that I couldn’t open the doors, the battery seemed dead and there was no way to access the car, they asked me to use the physical key inside the fob, but there wasn’t one, then they asked me to change the fob battery, however when I went to buy a battery the shops were closed for siesta, every time I made a new call it took forever to get through, anyway to cut a long story short I had to leave it until the next day to change the battery. I did that the following morning, it made no difference and again I had to start calling break down, it was early afternoon now and I had spent all morning on the phone, a truck arrived, once he realized he couldn’t open the car, he said he would have to send someone else, at 3pm two tow trucks arrived, I was told a taxi would come with them to take me to Murcia Airport to collect a new car, no taxi arrived and the hire car was towed away with a number of items belonging to me inside. I had to start phoning again eventually after a number of calls a taxi arrived to take us to Murcia Airport to collect a new car, it was a 30 minute drive and by the time I got a replacement it was almost 6pm. I had to leave my items in the original car. 2 days later I had to return to Ireland, without the items inside the car. It has taken over 3 weeks of emails to Centauro for them to tell me I can now collect my stuff at the airport, I have asked about compensation for my 2 days lost making calls to an almost non existent breakdown service, but Centauro continues to ignore me.

Fate Attenzione… arrivi con la prenotazione e l’ assicurazione tutto pagato ti dicono che la polizza non è valida e te ne propongono una sua. Tra la confusione e la fretta la fai per non perdere tempo. Sconsiglio assolutamente

Service at Alicante airport was disgraceful. Waited in excess of 2 hours to collect the vehicle. 2 staff working with 11 desks available. 2 out of 3 ticket machines not working. The staff were extremely slow and serving customers out of order as well. Nowhere to sit down, so had to stand for over 2 hours amongst disgruntled customers. When eventually served, I was even charged 40 euros for " out of hours" which was entirely due to the 2 hour wait to be served. 25 years a customer with Centauro, never, ever again. My first night in Spain, ruined by atrocious service. Also, no complaints function to be found on the website and telephone line just ringing out.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS!!! I returned the car 22 days ago with a full tank (even though we received it 3/4) and they haven't paid me back the 120 pounds they owe me!!! They are not replying to emails or calls. Scamming company!!

Had rented a car through Rentalcars (Mallorca / Spain). Have paid a car rental + full insurance. To get a car, a guarantee of 525 euro was charged in total. 152 euro were refunded after arriving home, but they still owe 372 euro. Have written to the support a month ago, but still no answer. [Ticket#812042872]. Unfortunately can not recommend «Centauro Rent a Car».

I would like to share our fantastic experience with Centauro. A friend recommended the company to us, and from the very beginning, everything was smooth and professional. The booking process was simple and straightforward, and we collected the car easily at Murcia Airport. The administration was quick and efficient, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We received a high-quality Kia vehicle that was in excellent condition, and the return process was just as seamless. Our deposit was refunded very quickly without any issues. We’re so pleased with the service that we’ve already decided to use Centauro again in September. I would highly recommend Centauro to anyone looking for a reliable car hire company—fantastic service, great value, and a truly professional team! 💯👌

esperienza orribile che ci ha rovinato il ricordo della vacanza in Sardegna. c'é da precisare che non avendo mai noleggiato una macchina prima l'abbiamo noleggiata da booking e non abbiamo aggiunto un'assicurazione supplementare che ci é stata proposta da un ragazzo poco gentile all'arrivo ma che abbiamo rifiutato di fare. Tutto bene fino alla riconsegna della macchina, prima di avviarci in areoporto avevamo verificato la macchina ed era tutto apposto ma magicamente alla consegna della macchina quando l'adetta dell autonoleggio esce per controllare la macchina trova su tutta la facciata del lato guidatore un raschio di chiave, naturalmente noi siamo rimaste sotto shock avendo verificato la macchina 20 min prima. Naturalmente nel parcheggio non erano presenti telecamere per poter verificare l accaduto e ci sono stati addebitati 672 euro!!! io trovo il tutto cosi assurdo, mi rendo conto che sono accuse pesanti ma é sato chiaramente un danno a sfregio.

Hola! It's a feedback about my recent rent in Alicante airport. It was really easy to book a car a home and get the keys in the airport. The instructions to the place to pick up the car were good, besides some more travellers were going to pick up their cars, so we did it. The only "problem" was that I booked Kia group C, but on the spot got Hyunday group C, which was quite ok. I was impressed to find a good navigator in the car. The car was quite good despite the fact it was manual and it took me time to get adjusted to it - I have an automatic system at home. The return of the car was fast, simple and fair enough.
