Went on the Folkestone, Bruges & Canterbury trip. First there was a mix up of the drivers which eventually got sorted, the stops were very good al though only one at Gretna Green on the way down. The hotel was dire, desperately in need of an update, food was mediocre at best. Staff were nice and helpful. We only had 1 hour & 40 mins in Bruges so that is a wasted trip. Wouldn’t do a long trip again. Also check your hotel reviews as they don’t always use ‘nice’ ones.
Not getting a full refund, that is stealing. Nothing else but " STEALING ".
I disliked that I have booked three holidays, paid fully for two and had my seat changed for the August holiday. Surely booking well in advance, which I have to do for a single room, ensures me the seat that I have paid for.

The assistant was very informative and made the booking quick and easy, very impressed with the service
Everything went according to plan. Visited two different places which had lots to offer. Hotel was clean, close to town centre.
If I could remove the one star I would. After our supposed to be a day trip to Chester on Saturday 17th May. Caledonian gave misleading information about the itinerary. They didn’t mention or inform us we were to be allowed only 31/2 hours there, out of an 11 1/2 hour day. An half hour stop on the way because the driver had picked up nr Hull before us in Castleford. Two more pick ups after us. Before we got on our way. Then a diversion to Chester Zoo where passengers got off and we had to wait while the driver collected their entry tickets. From our pick up at 8.30am we arrived in Chester at 12.40pm to be told we had to be back at 4.10pm for our return. Completely different trip to what we had paid for. No refund of our money up to now, despite many complaints being made. Disgusting!!! behaviour by Caledonian. You should be ashamed of your work practices.

I booked the Mystery day trip online, the process was very easy to complete and the website is accessible. This is my second trip with Caledonian Travel. My first was a five day trip to Torquay with my Mum, we enjoyed it so much, we have another five day trip booked for the 2nd June to Blackpool. The drivers and staff in the hotels are very helpful and always have a smile on their face.
Travelled as solo passenger was hoping to have a game if bingo and some entertainment It did not start until late without any obvious information I had retired to my room. The singer came on after 10.30pm I didn't need to get up and go down as my room was above the entertainment area🤨
