The coaches are clean, comfortable and bright making the journey enjoyable. Our driver George was very pleasant and kept us informed about our journey. Definitely do it again.
The person on the phone was very helpful and nice
I had to phone as it was a late booking and i wanted a single room. Yiour member was very helpful and phoned the hotel to make sure a room was available.10/7/25

Was not told at time of booking that we would be picked up by a coach at Rotherham interchange but then have to change coach at Woodhall Services ?!! Both coach drivers appeared to be not happy about the changeover ?! The coach driver of the coach to and from Bournemouth seemed not very communicative? This was our first holiday with Caledonian and we had read such great reviews of the ‘friendliest’ drivers? Thankfully we stayed in a lovely Hotel in Bournemouth and was allocated a beautiful room. Sadly very cold in the Hotel as apparently Head Office (Elite) instructed heating timers to be switched off from the winter times (?) but we were supplied with electric heater for our room immediately on request!! Sadly dining room & bar area still uncomfortably cold…..but we coped!

Coach journey was fine .Check-in quick and went to room to find bathroom door hanging on one hinge screws on floor reported to reception and was repaired while we were out.Floor boards in room were loose as were rooms above so you could here when we or people moved about. Dinning room tables all felt sticky not properly cleaned down. Meals were okay but left under heat light causing food to be hard and dry. Hotel is not suitable if you have mobility needs as there are steps in all directions. Walls are thin you can here next room television when on and hear their telephone conversations.Lifted our hold-all down from top of wardrobe to find it covered in thick dust when looking there were used drink cans on top. My partner dropped an ear ring and what we found under the bed was rediculous food ,cigarette ends sweets etc. The room was not knowingly serviced while we were there as the flakes of paint from bathroom door were still there when we left and the corridors still had wrapers dropped by someone before we arrived were still there when we left.Our room looked onto a flat roof where previous quests disposed of their cigarettes butts. We also had the pleasure of listening to two painters using the f word continuous in their conversation before we went out for the day.Dinning room staff were peasant but were reluctant to pick up finished plates walking past several times hoping another member would pick them up. Hotel needs tlc but management need to see staff are trained and doing their work properly. .

What should have been a lovely 2 days in Liverpool was spoilt by Andy the driver, he was rude and arrogant! He spoke down to the passengers like they were naughty school children. On the plus side we got to see Bryan Adams. This company needs to deal with complaints rather than removing them from social media! Word of mouth might just be the karma needed here!!!!
