Cancelling a Bitdefender auto-renewal

I am having great difficulty trying to cancel auto-renewal of a Premium VPN subscription with Bitdefender. Bitdefender want to renew at 100% rate when online they are advertising a 50% discount!!! Their "Contact Us" link constantly times out. What to do?

Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USAA blocked them for suspicious activity I wont be using them anymore since they are now $80 a year and the staff are thieves and NORTON 360 has a promotion for 15usd a year... yeah no brainer

Many years safe and with peace of mind

client for years, never had an issue. The app is not invasive. They updated my subscription to include more devices automatically with their new offers!! Responsive support. I cannot see how they could improve.

Over charging loyal customers

I signed up for a year's subscription to Bit Defender. It's a good anti-virus package but the auto renewal process penalises loyal customers by charging £119.99 in the hope that you haven't switched off the auto renewal. You can buy another year of the product for much less than this auto renewal price and it's a shameful practice that makes me want to look for another provider.

Ik heb het 4 jaar gebruikt

Ik heb het 4 jaar gebruikt. Ik vind de hrlp funktie slecht. Ptobleem werd niet opgelost wel veel tickets zonder inhoudelijk antwoord. Toen ik een nieuwe PC omdat de ondersteuning van Windows op was. Ging de oude PC stuk door de-installatie van Bitdefender. I had een contract voor 5 apparaten. Bij de 4 androids bleven ook restsnten van Bitdefender achter die goede werking belemmerde. Ik had hulp nodig om dat op te lossen

extremely difficult to cancel auto renawal

I have been using this software from years, but there is no option to purchase without auto renewal, If wouldn't problem if I could do one click to do this, but they make it extremely difficult to cancel ,Inspent all afternoon to do this. I can't even do this in my Bitdefender account they asked me to create ne account on new for me website, I've there it was extremely difficult to find this button, shame of you .

Good customer service

I had an issue where using Firefox made BD/Firefox use an incredible amount of CPU/RAM, but customer service solved it at once (after having to deal with their stupid AI chatbot first). At least the chatbot didn't make me jump through hoops to get to a real person. I'd love to shout out to the specific customer service representative who helped me, but I've had Trustpilot remove my ratings due to even including the initials of the person before, so I guess not. Anyway, if you remember who I am, thank you again for your expertise, patience, and help!

Senior Friendly

As a senior citizen, often anything technical is a challenge. You have no idea how many times Bitdefender had my back when I was navigating into unsafe territory. More than once I was taken back to safety when I opened an attachment that was unsafe.
