Cancelling a Bitdefender auto-renewal

I am having great difficulty trying to cancel auto-renewal of a Premium VPN subscription with Bitdefender. Bitdefender want to renew at 100% rate when online they are advertising a 50% discount!!! Their "Contact Us" link constantly times out. What to do?

Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USAA blocked them for suspicious activity I wont be using them anymore since they are now $80 a year and the staff are thieves and NORTON 360 has a promotion for 15usd a year... yeah no brainer

Problems with Bitdefender

Saw that Bitdefender was a recommended cheap antivirus package in Which? and bought it. Then the emails started, each day another one asking me to activate a more expensive antivirus package. And they kept coming. Decided enough was enough and wanted to cancel. Got on the website and the only contact available was by email. Entered the details and hit send and it hung and wouldn't go through almost as if they weren't accepting them!? There was also no phone number on the website so I googled it and when I rang the number I got a tone and a recorded message - 'there is no-one here to take your call, goodbye'!! The same thing each time I tried again!!! Contacted Which? and they sent me a link to a supposedly live chat. Except it wasn't, it was a link to the website instead. Eventually worked my way through the instructions and discovered how to cancel my account and afterwards realised that they don't tell you to first cancel your subscription and ask for a refund so now I have no access to do so! Wonderful!! Will have to do it through the bank I imagine. Should have looked at where they're based - Romania, and that would have given me second thoughts! You have been warned!!

Knowledgeable and available

This company makes having security on my PC easier for me to understand. They do a great job alerting me about dangerous sites and not letting me go there. I am old and very lost with all this technology but their representatives take the time to Help me and even helped me rid my PC of a very intrusive adware. I highly recomment them.

The automated customer service page is…

The automated customer service page is a maddening blind loop! You need to skip it completely. Go directly to the bottom of the page, and select blue link Try another way" to get a hold of a bot, then a human rep. The human rep "Ciprian U." was however very helpful.

Rogue Pop-Up control

I had a problem with a rogue Pop-Up. Even if eventually I made it disappear, i was not sure if it was still somewere in my PC. So I contacted the BitDefender Support Center. They passed my PC on a complete review and they gave me the informations I needed I think, to try to protect my PC from more bad experiences like the one I just had. We had many communications, after the second exchange, it was the same Support Engineer how guided me all along and answered all my questions, some time in a few hours, even in nightime. They did not close the case until they were sure that I was confident that my PC was OK and they told me to keep in touch if I have any worry in the future. To conclude, I am in full confidence with their Technical Service and their priority seems to put you at ease into having the best support possible.

My problems began with Bitdefenfer Premiumfender…

My problems began with Bitdefender Premium VPN over 12 months ago. I did not get a satisfactory response to my issue, and due to a lack of communication and response, I cancelled my Subscription. I reverted to the 'basic' VPN that is in my Bitdefender Plan. But I still have the same issues. I'm frustrated because I cannot find a way to contact anybody to get the issue sorted. The problem I have may not sound important to most, but I'm located in rural Western Australia, in a remote area. I rely on internet for most things, including entertainment. However, the issue occurs when attempting to access ABC i-view programs. ABC considers that my VPN is attempting to access their programs from an international source and they won't allow access. This was the problem that I had with VPN Premium that wasn't addressed. And I'm having the same issue with the basic vpn? I cannot watch ABC programs with vpn on! I would like the
