Cancelling a Bitdefender auto-renewal

I am having great difficulty trying to cancel auto-renewal of a Premium VPN subscription with Bitdefender. Bitdefender want to renew at 100% rate when online they are advertising a 50% discount!!! Their "Contact Us" link constantly times out. What to do?

Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USAA blocked them for suspicious activity I wont be using them anymore since they are now $80 a year and the staff are thieves and NORTON 360 has a promotion for 15usd a year... yeah no brainer

Great Customer Support

When I needed to move an old inaccessible email account which held my Bitdefender account over to my current email, Bitdefender support did it smoothly and quickly.

Désactivation impossible....

PC régulièrement ralenti en raison des lourdeurs de Bitdefender puis retour à la normale grâce à sa désinstallation. La désactivation du renouvellement automatique (Méthode 1 ou 2) reste cependant impossible à ce jour. Arnaque ?

I guess the security is fine

I guess the security is fine. Daily use is good. But the subscription handling is hopeless. I received an email (on a email account I no longer have associated with Bitdefender) from a third party. In the mail it is stated that my payment details is outdated and my subscription is expired. I need to follow a link in the mail to update payment details. After communicating with support (which were good experience) I found that my subscription is NOT expired. Actually I don't even have a renewal deal. 1. A security company uses a (for me) unknown third party to send out payment details! 2. A security company want me to follow a link from an email! 3. A security company uses an expired email address. 4. Bitdefender do not have control of thier subscriptions I now wonder. Do they know anything about security?

Top anti virus software with top service.

I am using it for years now and it always kept me totally safe. If there is a problem with the program, which happened once in a period of 4 years, the service department helps you in a calm and very friendly and above all, very efficient way. My problem was solved in a few minutes.

Be warned, Stay Away

Be warned, the customer service reps are the rudest I in my entire life. Since I purchased this antivirus, I had no access to nothing on my computer. I called and was assisted but the next day. The same thing happened which prevented me from attending my classes. I called to speak to the customer rep for help and he would interject me even before I express my frustration with the antivirus, then he hung up on me. I redialed so I could get help and the rep said the best solution they have for me is to uninstall with no money back. Stay away from this company.

Great security for online life

I've used Bitdefender for several years and find the antivirus cover to be excellent. I also appreciate Safepay and the VPN. Any time I have had a question or a problem, the customer service has been excellent. I feel in safe hands.
