Bitdefender has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
I am having great difficulty trying to cancel auto-renewal of a Premium VPN subscription with Bitdefender. Bitdefender want to renew at 100% rate when online they are advertising a 50% discount!!! Their "Contact Us" link constantly times out. What to do?
Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USAA blocked them for suspicious activity I wont be using them anymore since they are now $80 a year and the staff are thieves and NORTON 360 has a promotion for 15usd a year... yeah no brainer

When I have a suspected Infection from a rogue email which I inadvertently downloaded on my computer. I contacted Bitdefender for help. The Bitdefender team responded really promptly, gave clear instructions of what to do, so they could check the suspected infection. They then did the analysis and then gave a solution to help.

Seems to work, but EXTREMELY frustrating to report an issue. Poor customer service. Very hard to find a way to submit a phishing email, or a bad web site that wasn't blocked, etc. There should be an email address "phishing at bitdefender.com" or "suspect at bit..." or similar. Could not find one anywhere.

absolutely the WORST sign up process ever!!!!! I never rec'd my activation code after paying. I'm on hold with support, which is a Fort Lauderdale Florida Area Code, which seems very sketchy. Horrible process will be requesting a full refund. This company is awful in their sign up process.

I renewed Bitdefender and despite the confirmation that the renewal had been done it didn't reactivate. I went online and started using the chatbot, I didn't have high hopes as they're usually terrible. But this one was the most human like that I've interacted with. Within a few minutes it had asked me a few questions about the problem, got me to do some simple diagnostics, and passed me onto a human. From there they quickly told me that there was an issue with reactivations of licences, and they manually set it all up for me. Excellent service.
