Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders
Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

I have nothing but praise for Anglian Water. We are well into this heatwave (formally known as summer). Whilst other water companies in wetter regions are imposing hosepipe bans, Anglian Water have assured us that it is business as usual. The regions water levels in reservoirs are still above average, with no chance of a water shortage or hosepipe ban. People are quick to complain when things go wrong but praise where praise due. This is good water management. Both me and my garden thank you!

You’re fine until you have an issue. I set up a direct debit, for slightly under what I use so that my account doesn’t sit in credit and I pay off (in full) what I owe after the account is reviewed/a meter reading is issued. They couldn’t understand why I wanted to do this and tried to nearly double my direct debit payments, so that I was £19 in credit every month (£228 per year). Emailing them is hard work, slow response time and they ended up cancelling my direct debit altogether?!?!?!?! I decided after playing email ping pong over several days (email being my preferred method of contact) to call them up, only to be greeted by a manager who was clearly cheesed off by being met by my frustrations. I was on the phone 30 minutes. An email takes 2 minutes and if there was a great deal of confusion...it would have been nice to have received a phone call off them directly. All a bit too much effort these days. I think I’ll go back to paying quarterly what I owe. All these companies love you being in credit! Can’t think why!

Absolutely aappalling service. Their sewer that serves both my neighbour and me along my drive has been leaking and has subsided and contaminated the land surrounding it with effluent and waste water for years. They dug the area out and found the leak which they missed on three prior inspections. They took away the contaminated spoil and replaced it with hardcore. They then tried to blame the ground underneath my drive and told me I was lucky they aren't sending me a bill for the work. Outrageous! Strange how the drive has cracked and dropped only on the spot where their sewer leaked for years isn't it. I don't want betterment or compensation. Just the damage they caused repairing. But they constantly deny everything and refuse to put their damage right.

I have had no hot water today. Washing machine wouldn’t work , only a dribble from the shower Works are due to start outside the house in the next few weeks regarding water leak I thought perhaps the boiler ... got fobbed off by the letting agency as soon as I mentioned a leak in the road. Anglian water came later the same day checked the pressures no problem Was kind enough to come in the house and figure out the water softener was leaking filter particals, he isolated it for me and told me how to clear the debris in the system Over and above what he was required to do

I am in the process of buying a house and the searches highlighted several possible problems with the drainage sewage issues. I have now spoken to several people at Anglian water and am so pleased with how they dealt with me. Efficient and helpful and so polite and accommodating. Such a lovely experience. Well done. Richard the engineer, Kirsten and Ian in development such nice people. Also the young woman I initially spoke to at the call centre

I took an unexpected telephone call from Anglian Water a couple of days ago. It transpires, having moved house a couple of months ago, that Anglian had noted that our consumption had doubled, and pro-actively called me to check if this was expected. It wasn't, so a few leak checks ensued (instructions emailed to me within moments), and I found a leak to drain from a toilet overflow. Without further ado, they've refunded me for the water and sewerage that I'D wasted, and have given me a further credit of a few weeks to cover loss up until I can get the toilet fixed. I cannot think of a more positive interaction with a major utility in all my years of dealing with them. Friendly, effective and generous. Superb service.

While I was away a bill fell due, my son received up to 5 calls a day demanding payment, that is harassment!!! Today when I tried to pay my bill on the automatic service I was diverted to an operator! She wanted my mobile phone number, in addition to my house phone, then asked my date of birth! Damn cheek, don't help these people build private databases on you!!! Anglian Water need to be told how to behave, as well as try to provide drinkable water!!!

Turned up as we had no water in house. Said it’s a burst pipe somewhere along the row of houses but as it’s not on our network I can’t help as we are only liable up to the font of your garden. Then walked off no help no water

Excellent service on the phone - I was quoted a higher monthly instalment and talked it through with a patient and understanding customer service person. My meter readings are prompt and my debit orders have been adjusted realistically.
