Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

A breath off fresh air ! I called today re my water prices ! requested a call back within ten minutes i had a call back, a delightful professional person i explained my issue - he told me me i needed a different department and would transfer me expecting to wait on the phone for ages then explain it all again, i was wrong his colleague came onto the phone had my account up and my issue she explained everything to me clearly ok i didn't save any money ! but the experience of calling was professional polite and courteous i wish Anglian water trained other customer services
Answer the phone quickly or offer a callback which is great, always super helpful and understanding, keep you updated with what's happening and when, call ahead and then advise when problem is sorted. Wish all companies worked like this!
We had a huge bill in the new year, upon inspection a leak found on our property. Everyone we have spoken with since at Anglian Water have been amazingly helpful and supportive. Thank you!
We had Christian come out from anglia water as we had a blocked drain somewhere water was building up and causing pooling/flooding. Christian found the problem informed me what he was doing the whole way through the process. Very grateful he found the problem and resolved it for us with no stress. Christian was very polite nothing seemed a problem. Really lovely man. Thank you so much Christian
I spoke to an advisor today Julie. With all the surprises that come with being a first time home owner, she was so patient, informative and understanding. Julie really put me at ease and explained everything so professionally in a way I could understand i.e. the difference between the companies providing clean water and taking away sewage. She recommended getting a meter which I will. All in all, I felt very well understood and left the call very informed. Thanks so much Julie, you made all the difference.
We experierenced a water outage on Friday the 24th, this has been one of many over the last few months, which have caused an absolute nightmare when you have a household with a baby and toddler. So we were on the list for bottled water, however never received any, when we questioned it we told three different stories: 1. It's likely to be a couple of hours. 2. It's probably likely we won't get to you tonight. 3. We decided to allocate staff to fixing the issue rather than deliver water, so you won't actually be receiving any. Do Anglian Water even have a ounce of humanity or do they just care for profit? (10.7% increase next month). What is the point of this so called Priority List if you can't actually abide by it, what are we paying for? And when you mention compentation, not happening, they give you the old 'Sorry the issue wasn't over 12 hours' speech. Well I'm sorry do your customer service staff know how long an infant can go without formula? Because 12 hours is a long time in their book and probably boards on neglect! Do they know that even if you have to venture out and get bottled water yourself, which I've done on every occasion, that you have to purchase water with a low sodium range? Which there's no guarantee that you can even get that if mulitple people in a small area are in the same boat, giving you the additional stress and the mental fatigue. I'm sure when they shutdown their computer's and leave for the night they don't give two thoughts to the parents that are left deflated that they've had to send their kids to bed dirty from not being able to bathe them or hungry because they haven't had a good meal because of this. SHOW SOME EMPHATHY TO CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF READING OFF A SCREEN!
I had an issue with a blocked pipe and they were out within the hour and cleared the problem, brilliant service 👏👏
Every drop is overpriced. The website never works for payment. For several days over the past few months our water has been cut off locally, but I have still been charged for water usage on these days. Don't know how they continue to get away with it.
Anglian Water - I ran into issues with domestic abuse in 2017ish. I never explained to customer services what was going on but the customer service was so great that they avoided putting markers on my credit file since they could see I was a customer who always pays. Now, I bought a house just after 1st lockdown and it's thanks to Anglian Water sensibility that I was able to escape very cramped work from home conditions. Thankyou so much, unlike Shell Energy who are vampires!
Called today and received excellent customer service from Denise. The processes AW have are also more superior to other call centres i.e. a free call back feature, booking in a call back with the same agent. thanks Denise for all your help today.
