Learned my background

I sent in my pkg. months ago and I have yet to get a final report, but yet my account is charged fees the last couple of months!!! I keep getting hints and I do not know all of my family and that was the purpose of going to Ancestry. I have yet to receive a package with results and I am very disappointed and unsatisfied! If I knew my family I wouldn’t have to deal with Ancestry.

Wasn't as detailed as I had hoped. I saw some people's results that told them down to the exact location but mine was kind of just a general area/estimate.

This was amazing. Knowing the different people that I’m associated with was a real eye opener and a great learning experience.

Fake results! I got a blood test and it was completely different than what ancestry listed.

So confused as to what I am suppose to do next? Every click is blocked until I open my wallet.....more ....more....¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Muy buena información para saber el más probable origen de mis antepasados. No he estudiado ni resuelto la información relativa a mis antepasados, tengo poca información fidedigna. Lo estudiaré e investigaré sobre ellos y cuando crea tener buena información, se las envio. Gracias

Very disappointed, still don't know who my father is and they have my mother listed wrong.waste of time and dna

Sent off DNA swab, results were utterly useless, told me our traits, could not of been more inaccurate, waste of money

I can't even access my DNA. This site is confusing

No, the site is difficult to manage. Hard to figure out how to link people and trees. Almost everything has to be paid for by a very expensive subscription. Waste of time without it.

Hard to understand

I never received my results. What I have received was emails asking me to order kits for others in addition to dozens and dozens of emails from Ancestry.

Glad that I know abt relatives

Very little information received and I was bombarded almost daily by solicitations to spend more money for a membership to get more detailed information. I already have a detailed family history book that was compiled “old school” by research into historic records.

The Ancestry program changes deceased people to living even after SAVED is pressed. That's bad. That's a bad program. I can not trust Ancestry to SAVE my inputs.

Learning my history

Since 2016 I have worked with Ancestry.com at the library and at home using my subscription with Ancestry. It seems like the information is changing as I become more skillful at my searches. Some information is lost and I could never find it again such as the name of a slave ship. If I had to start over again, I would focus on one side of my family which was my original desire. I have printed pages of stuff and need a system for filing the results of my memory and not have to depend on my faulty memory.

It’s a shame that you have to keep adding subscriptions to your account to get specific information… It should be a one time fee and that should be enough…
