Really wanted to know more about my father's biological family and all you could muster up was 2nd cousins twice removed. SO DISAPPOINTED......

I love history, and I have always wanted to know my own ancestry and finally submitted my DNA sample. I knew I had England & Germany ancestry, but was I ever surprised to see I have Scotland, Swedish & Ireland ancestry. I'm always interested in Viking culture and history, would be so cool to see if I have Viking ancestry. It shouldn't surprise especially since my siblings and I are really light skinned and have red highlights in our hair

Excellent info re:both parents and places of origin. For me it makes perfect based on my oral family history

Paid my money to get results and now have to pay for a subscription to see them?!?! Confusing as hell!!

The subscription you get when you buy the kit is very misleading. The subscription starts when you buy the kit and it takes 6-8 weeks to get your results so you only have 1 month with the subscription. We gifted the kit and my dad didn’t do it right away due to being sick so that took off time as well, now that we have the results we have to buy a new subscription to get the details we originally bought it for.

I'm a bit underwhelmed about this, and the extra costs, while understandable, are tedious

I like that it shows results however nothing is put together in a coherent manner
