Well, just about everything (hint) that they offer you is an upgrade and not a cheap one at that. Even the basic subscription is hundreds of dollars a year. Want to see newspaper article hints they find you? Upgrade. Want to look at records from overseas they offer you? Upgrade. Many of the hints that are offered are MEH or superfluous information. Many are just not applicable to your people and you spend a lot of time telling them why they are wrong, but they still keep coming. I have enjoyed tracing out my family tree using their tools, but honestly, unless you are REALLY into genealogy or use this for a business I don't see how the $$$ makes sense.

We love it the information that we got it really tell us more about what our family is more about and where we come from thank you so much for all this information. It really helps us to fight our family history.

Paid membership is semi-annually and they do not provide refunds if you cancel it the month of renewal.

We emailed you over a year ago to stop our membership and payments you acknowledged our email stating you would be in touch soon, still heard nothing! I have asked for a refund from this date as you failed to contact us to cancel! Terrible service!

They are too expensive plus you don't get everything you used too ..and still charging the expensive price...

Hoping to find other blood relatives is pretty exciting. My parents did not provide any history at all.

I thought I had canceled my account. I did not receive a notification of the renewal. Woke up this morning to one account being emptied and another account accessed to pay for the renewal. My only income is Social Security. Due to this, no groceries or ability to pay bills for two weeks until I get my next check. I am borrowing cash from my neighbor to deposit in the bank so nothing bounces. I have searched and cannot find a cancel option on Ancestry.

I have loved finding out 6 different new origins that I never knew about. From journeys, to traits and matches it has been a fun experience.

Nice to find out my exact DNA heritage. Thought I was more French. Didn't know I was predominantly English. My ethnicity explains some of my traits. It all was very interesting.

Compared to MyHeritage the website and app feels way outdated. Also after a more expensive dna test is seems you get less than MyHeritage offers. And what you have to pay for subscription is way overpriced.

Well, I haven't received MY results yet. My daughter got hers, but they're inaccurate, so I'm a bit disappointed. I thought DNA was ALWAYS accurate...but someone there told me sometimes genetic markers get missed, since only half is passed down from each parent. My daughter is AT LEAST 1/8 Native American. U would think some sort of percentage would show up in her heritage, but NOTHING came up showing she's Native American. Wth??? There has to be *something*.
