I was using the app and suddenly my grandmother was married to the same man twice. I read that the app does come out with what others call " ghost people" so I quit the app. Now that I have my DBA analyzed, I am being asked to evaluate much of the same documentation all over again. I am getting fed up! Update: They fixed that problem for me, which is great. But I still find it much easier to use the free Morman's app to find people. As for the DNA, 23AndMe was much more informative. Too bad they are having bankruptcy and other problems. They gave much more detail about my earliest ancestry and of course they are big on traits and health factors. That said, the availability of information on Ancestry.com cannot be beat.

Excited to learn more about my ancestors journey here and abroad.

I have found out more about who my ancestors are than I did when my parents and other relatives when they were alive but having trouble with the hints given to me because of it. I was all excited to receive my DNA results and I was kinda surprised how it turned out! Some of it I knew but some of it didn't match what little I was told and I confused about the whole thing. I also would like to get more international information which I payed for and I think I was accidentally refused to being able to get it. I'm enjoying my experience so far and would like to more about my ancestors migration and history.

absolutely meaningless test

absolutely meaningless test, practically giving nothing. I think by the client's last name, they detect ethnicity and draw some answer.

It was very confusing

It was very confusing, on what info to input into the tree. How to show you were adopted at age 3. Where to put your adopted father's name in tree, I would probably never do this again.

Finding my dad's real family

Well I wanted to find out about my dad's real parents he and his sisters were adopted by the Krenke family. All I know was his last because my grandma changed it when she adopted him. The other is my mother's, Mom her maiden name is Johnson and that's my dad's real last name also and what I think is really funny both of my parents have the same culture just one of them don't have German in them.

What good is Ancestry dna if your not a subsciber? I was a subsciber and all information be came null and void without a subscripition. I did not sign up for a lifetime of monthly changes to access family info that’s what the dna test was for. You do not own me and I will not be bullied or used by your phony advertisment.

Got results

I was glad to finally get my results after three tries! I'm not sure why the first two didn't work but I did some things differently and finally it worked! I am Laura Moore who took the dna test. I don't know why my husband's name is mentioned!

It is very annoying to continually be asked to spend more money. Either you join for a monthly fee or be content with the limited amount of information supplied for the money already spent. Most of the information offered is for immediately family members which most families already know. I am very disappointed that I chose your company.

My experience is ongoing an it very informative

My experience is ongoing and I found it to be very informative with lots of documentation to review and some useful migration patterns to help you track your ancestors paths. I will continue explore details provided over time and use it to paint the best picture of my ancestors movement I can.
