Great Service

I've had Wisper Internet now for almost 5 years and am very pleased with the service. I have had basically zero issues. If the internet has been down, it has been for very little time. If there is an issue, Wisper has it resolved in a timely fashion. If they are going to be doing service on it, I receive an email stating that. Which is great communication from them. Keep up the great work Wisper!

My family live in the country and for years we’re unable to get good internet. Wisper worked with us and found a way to give us awesome service when no one else would.

Not a Fan!

Your Customer Service manager has done as much as he possibly can for us, and we appreciate his efforts… but your lower level customer service is horrible! We have had missed appointments, work tickets not made up, messages not passed along… Our internet was completely out for some time a while back and I told a lower level CSR I was tired of paying $100/mo for nothing— he said, “wait a minute… let me see what we can do” and seriously came back offering me $65/mo till it was fixed! I learned early on that if I had a problem, I have to take it straight to the top, because no one else is willing/able to help! Our service flat out sucks. Sadly, it’s about all we can get in our area. It goes in and out all day long and slows tremendously in the evenings. We pay almost $100/month for this unreliable service and would seriously cancel altogether… but our neighbors don’t have any better luck with anyone else. We will cancel the minute something better comes along (if we make it that long without canceling and just going without… which wouldn’t really be that much different than what we are doing right now!). The most infuriating part is you constantly inundating us with ads about all the service you’re adding in different places. Focus on improving the service you already have instead of trying to expand! And quit sending me messages trying to persuade me to invite others to sign up! I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy! Sorry. Other than your one good, helpful supervisor, I don’t have too much nice to say about your company or your service!

Our service is terrible since we were…

Our service is terrible since we were changed over from pixius. Internet is extreamly slow half the time we can't get a connection. Have had to change routers multiple times. At one point we went 3 weeks with no internet and were given a different reason as to why it wasn't working every time we called.

While wireless broadband equipment has…

While wireless broadband equipment has obvious limitations, I'm happy to get reasonable speeds and unlimited data from Wisper. Out here in the country in Franklin County, we don't have access to anything else that is reasonable and I appreciate Wisper providing me with this access to the internet as I am a fairly heavy user. Sometimes the random outages get frustrating, but at least they usually don't last long.

After over a year I am still not…

After over a year I am still not getting anything faster than dial up and my contract is for 24MBPS. I am not sure where my internet location is. I am billed out of Mascoutah, IL.

We like Wisper

We like Wisper. We live in the country between Edwardsville and Bethalto. We lose service occasionally but it doesn't last very long. We stream movies on Netflix and Disney+. The customer service is usually very good too.

Our Wisper experience has been pretty…

Our Wisper experience has been pretty good. The installation process was easy. Professional and courteous techs each time. Had some slight trouble getting the strongest signal possible at first due to geographic constraints, but they were resolved. The service is the best available in my area (compared to phone company DSL service). So we’ve been happy.

I was disappointed with the tech…

I was disappointed with the tech support after I read their website. I had been working with Wisper to increase my speed. It was a several step process, which is understandable. The technician would tell me the office would be changing frequencies, making tweaks and would notify everyone impacted. That did not happen. When I called back to report, the tech support person said I would have to create another ticket (my third) to get the changes. During that call, after some additional discussion, I was told the tweak was made. It made no difference to my performance. Two weeks later, I received a call from a tier-2 rep who wanted to schedule an appointment to get my frequencies changed. Not good internal communication. Bottom line, Wisper cannot delivery the speeds advertised so I will be moving to another provider.
