Internet service great

I have had Wisper since the beginning I think in my area. It has seldom had issues and when I do, they are resolved quickly. I can stream for the most part on the smaller package. As a senior adult I enjoy the price I pay at present and hope it remains stable,

I am using Whisper exclusively for working remotely. Everyone else in my house uses StarLink. There are still some times during the workday I am not getting the full mgps I am paying for.

Very slow and tedious technical support

It took you folks 4 months to fix my issue. That is excessive. I told you right after it began that the issue was weather-related, but you had to pick around the edges and do all the least involved fiddles before you ever actually got around to fixing it, by replacing the cable from the antenna to the house. I do believe that after all this time, the issue is finally fixed. I certainly hope so.

We cannot get enough signal and our service is spotty because of our location. We lived in the same house 12 years ago and used Wild Blue/Via Sat and had much better service. We would love to have a tower in our area. Please consider rural areas in Montgomery/Bond County area

No service, tv or security

I have not had internet for over two weeks and they have no one to fix it currently. I got Partial bill credit ($30) but I have spent more than that using my phone service, have no tv service and no camera use for my security system because of it. Pretty terrible and doubt I will continue.

Was a great service but there is more to the story.

I gave 2 stars because when we started with whisper we had non direct line of sight and it was working quite well. We were getting very close to our speed we were told we would get and had very little issues that required nothing more than resetting the modem on occasion. I guessing about 2 years or so into having the service on December 23 we noticed we had no internet we figured a tower was down and waited a couple days to see. Well the internet never did come back so when I called they tried a few things that never worked and was told I would get a call back from the next level tech support. I never did I had to call back but to make a long story short it came down to having to send someone out ok sounds great but to get to this point I don't remember the exact time frame but it was over a month. The guy came out and said you can't get direct line of sight so we can no longer provide service for you now remember we had non direct line of sight. Ok so what happened to that service. Well there not providing that service no more and felled to talk to customers ahead of time before it went down. All they could offer was the satellite service for us now so ok we transfer to that service and they did cover the installation fee for it after I asked them to since we were only going to it because of there situation. The satellite internet is now more expensive but a little faster speed and we did get the cheep package. Well after you use the high speed the speed drops to 1mbps so you might as well say you have internet that is worth using for about a week at the price of 70 dollars and for the rest of the month well good luck use what you can but the speed is slow enough you might not get anything accomplished. My biggest complaint is on this whole situation was that they discontinued a service with out any warning to customers but they keep adding extra areas covered but what about the customers that you already had that were loyalty customers and just left them hanging. To me it's just a bad way to do business. Side note were I live we have no other option other than another satellite internet that's about the same situation as whispers satellite and frontier that is also around 1 mbps in my area. Whisper was our best option but now there just as inferior as the rest in my area.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

Even though I can see the Wisper antenna from my home through connection is terrible. I had put my service on hold while on an extended vacation and when I returned and activated the service I had no internet service for almost the entire time prior to leaving again on another extended leave. I was told I’d receive a $30 reduction on my bill and I’ve not seen that come to fruition. I don’t understand why I had to pay anything for NO SERVICE. If it is not corrected I will switch back to a previous lousy service which was still somewhat more reliable

Internet speed is slow with intermittent latency. Technical support is generally unhelpful until you are transferred to higher capability support staff.

Took way to long to receive a call back.

I called Wisper for technical problems that I was having with my WiFi. I spoke to customer service and she said that technical support would give me a call back to assist me. It took them so long to call back (about two months) that I completely forgot that I even called. When technical support did call they were not very helpful.

VERY FRUSTRATING

When we first got Wisper the speed and connectivity was good (for our area), as time goes on both have been getting worse. There will be times where our speed's get below 1MB for upload and download. We typically use it for TV streaming services as there is no way it is reliable enough for me to use for work. I was told they plan to upgrade our system which will in turn increase our speed and and reliability, however they do not know when that will be (if ever for our area). It is almost to the point now that i may cancel my internet services therefore i know i don;t have internet access instead of getting false hopes of it only working sometimes!
