Slow service. Maintenance takes weeks to get fixed.

I gave a rating of 3 stars. Since I have had Wisper I have not had the speed I am paying for I am supposed to have 25 mbps I am lucky if I get 18 mbps. I have called and they have tried to fix it but can’t figure out the issue besides telling me the tower I am on needs to be updated, They swimmers to something else to try and help but told me in the afternoon it will slow down due to too many people on at one time. I wish they could just upgrade the tower so the customers get what they are paying for. I am not the only one in my area that is having issues. The technician told me multiple people using the same tower are having the same issue so they gave a discount on my bill if other areas can have 100mbps download. Why can we not get our tower upgraded to the same thing and have the same option the. Reason for three stars is because they did discount my bill and they are still trying to fix the situation. The situation won’t be fixed until they upgrade the tower technician said.

We have had Whisper since March 2021. So far, we have been pretty satisfied. The only thing is the speeds seem all over the place at times. I wish I could get the 15mb package for the price of the 10mb. That's what most other ISPs charge for 15mb. Some days we have to deal with buffering and other aggravating situations, but not everyday. I can't say anything bad about Whisper, just wish it was faster for the price. But, were we live outside of Johnston City, we only have 3 choices. Whisper, Frontier at 1.5 mbs DSL, or satellite. Right now Whisper provides the overall best option. They have good customer service, Everytime I've called or emailed them I've gotten a quick response. So, would I recommend Wisper? Yes, I would especially if you have limited options for Internet service.

My service has gotten progressively worse. I have called in and spoken with techs. No solution yet.

Always loses internet connection. Pis poor guality!! Not happy with services. Same damn excuse when we call in a problem.

Service has been really good but internet speeds could be faster. Would be nice like upgrading to faster speeds would happen sooner.

At first I kept getting drops because I live in an area surrounded by trees, but so far so good.

I asked a question 4 days ago and no one has gotten back to me.

I keep having frequent outages and buffering issues when trying to stream from my phone or iPad to my TV If I had any other good choices of providers I definitely would be looking into changing

Connectivity and speed are relatively good for the area where we live. Any outages seem to be weather related and when they happen, Wisper is pretty responsive to get it back in service.

Install was great. When I called to get service, I was told I was able to receive the 25MB service. Technician said I will only get 1mb and put me in the 10mb plan. So with base store saying you will qualify for 25 and only get 1mb is ridiculous.

Currently I am struggling to watch even a 720p video on YouTube. Speed tests say I am getting 3mb download vs the 10mb I am paying for (80% legally required to provide so 8mb)

it works into it rains or storms then wisper stop working

I have to reset my router minimum of twice a day. Every time I call the blame a network cable an refuse to fix it I’m canceling in a month once they finish running the new internet out my way.

Only at home using wisper internet do I have frequent (every couple of minutes) disconnects with OpenVPN to work. I can go to pretty much any public wifi or even use my phone and it does not drop connections like wisper. I opened up a ticket but have not heard anything back.

I was looking for good internet service and Wisper came to my rescue.

My husband and I are weekenders and it seems like every time we are at the lake the internet is out...

we had tons trouble my husband has called and down where he works the equipment is in a rubber tub looks like bunch of junk of wires it doesn't work half the time he's called and told him that it needs to be fixed and they won't listen won't come down and redo it and put all new in so many people are having troubles all the time. say trees if so why ones has no trees having same thing.

Wisper representatives were friendly, courteous, & very knowledgeable about our update. We are pleased with the enhanced service. They did exactly what they said they would do & the results were exactly as they said it would be. We have been with Wisper from their start date in this area.
