There was a horrible problem with the shipper, whom I will not name, (but it rhymes with SedEx), where my locker shipment was destroyed somehow. As Wine Spies did not think they could replace the wines which had sold out, and I was very disappointed. I truly wanted the original wines, Agent Blanc worked over and beyond to find the original wines along with Agent Brut and now they are reshipping all of my original locker, BRAVO Wine Spies.........

Wine Spies has been a terrific source for wine and wine information for years. Their business model is the best. They send out daily offers of very diverse wines ("New" and "Old" World wines), usually backed by authoritative expert reviews, at very diverse costs. A customer may add wines to their own personal "locker" (i.e., a 12-bottle case), one or more bottles at a time, and store it at their temperature-controlled facility until one wants it shipped at no additional cost. They'll hold up to two "lockers" for quite a while until you've got what you want to ship. Wine Spies has access to a lot of famous as well as little-known and hard-to-get wines, always at a substantial discount off the original list price. I've never been able to beat their price with a market price charged by other online retailers--who will still charge an additional substantial shipping charge to get your hands on the bottle(s). Their "agents" provide outstanding customer service in the event of a problem. I have particularly enjoyed working with "Agent Shiraz" over several years, always great service. No fee charged to check it out.

I love having the opportunity to buy and excellent wines to try without paying retail amd without traveling to the winery/Château. Wine Spies run the business, efficiently and effectively. Response times are really fast with real life human beings! Agent Blanc return by email within 30 minutes on a Sunday! Now that the service. I have found real gems and joined wine clubs because of Wine Spies!

I was a longterm subscriber to Wine Spy but have stopped ordering from them because of terrible customer service. I constantly had to contact them because my full cases of wine hadn’t shipped even after submitting the order two or more weeks prior. On one occasion they lost an entire case of my wine and couldn’t track it. They did refund the cost of the wine but I could not replace my specially selected wines. Wines offered by them are great but customer service is not.

Agent Blanc was most professional and a true delight to work with. He listened to my issue and resolved it promptly and totally to my satisfaction. He went out of his way to offer me some advise on various programs that Wine Spies offers some tips as to how to get the most benefits in dealing with Wine Spies and making future purchases. He is a most valuable and loyal employee and a true asset to the company.

I need to start over and update my previous review I should have popped open one of the bottles I have previously received from Wine Spies so that I can calm down and wait a bit before I comment on communication troubles...I should know better living in a world of constant emails flying into SPAM folders or the daily Computer Glitch..Computers are not perfect and Neither am I ..that is my long winded apology...NOW for the real and deserved review....As for Customer Service...5-star....Agent Blanc did call me to address the order issues I had today and quickly fixed it....the phone call speaks volumes on the importance Wine Spies places on the Value of a Customer. Thank You Agent Blanc. As for The Website and Fun Wines that are offered also 5 Stars. I love the Locker Option that allows me to build my case for the free shipping. The wines I have received to date have been perfect...now I all need to do is log in more often to make sure I grab that daily special wine of the day that might intrigue me before it gets sold out...it's all part of the Fun.
