I appreciate the range of wines available through Wine Spies and the detailed descriptions provided. The quality of the wines has generally met my expectations, though some selections are more suitable for casual drinking rather than special occasions. Customer support has been responsive when needed.

I had a question on a shipment and Agent Moscato responded to my online request in only a few minutes. The agent quickly corrected my shipping date to mid-September, as I am in ATL and didn’t want my wine traveling through the heat in July. Since I began ordering from WS in February, I have been impressed with the quality and value of the wines they offer and the shipping options are unparalleled. You can buy only one bottle at a time (or as many as you like) and WS will hold your wine until you have amassed a full case. The wine is shipped free of charge and climate controlled shipping is also offered at no additional cost. Wine Spies has a FaceBook group page for their members (there is no fee to join WS) and they are active participants in discussions of wines purchased from them. I have learned so much about wines from around the globe from the other members, as well as from the detailed descriptions that WS includes with each offering. In addition to flavor profiles, the backgrounds of the wine maker and vineyards are also included in the write-ups. They find hidden gems from boutique wineries in California and beyond as well as well-known wines and offer all at discounted prices. I’m very pleased with all aspects of my Wine Spies experience.
