Was looking for a Ducati Scrambler 800…

Was looking for a Ducati Scrambler 800 as my next bike. A part exchange was at the forefront of the deal. Wheels had what seemed the ideal bike with the right model, mods, mileage and price. My contact was Joe Scott who provided me with all the answers to the questions asked. A subsequent walk round video clinched it for me and we continued our discussions to a part exchange deal. Despite this being an online purchase (I'm three hours away) I'm delighted with the overall experience: the communication, ease of the process to purchase, and Joes' involvement. (and even when he wasn't available he still made sure that I was kept informed). Oh, I love the bike and would happily work with Wheels again should the opportunity arise.

Purchased a honda Goldwing

Purchased a honda Goldwing, unfortunately had issues that wasn't apparent until it was rode home, reported the issues was promptly collected and checked over and delivered, unfortunately the problem happened again and another problem also showed up Promptly collected again offered to fix it and give me a 1 Years honda warranty as an apology but opted to return for a refund that they did without argument/hesitation Very friendly and accommodating customer service

Wheels, Peterborough Customer service and support

From the moment, I walked into Wheels, Peterborough, which I searched online for Triumph Tiger 1200 SE Alpine which I decided on which motorbike to enquire about. I was directed by a member of staff to Joe Scott, he instantly was attentive and asked me to show him what motorbike, I was thinking of getting explaining to him that leg reach was tip toes, he mentioned a lowering kit that was available in which came in two kits 20 and 40 mm. I part exchange my motorbike, sign a few online forms which were straightforward even change the collection date a week earlier which Joe was very happy to do, on the collection day he showed and explained the controls and back history of the motorbike. A very smooth and easy process at Wheels, Peterborough made even more by the friendly, informative staff. A very happy customer.

Fantastic buying experience with…

Fantastic buying experience with Wheels. I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe. I spotted a Supersport 950s but was buying without seeing in person. I was given a thorough walk around video, all of my queries were answered, nothing seemed to be a problem. They held the bike for me when I was unable to take delivery as quickly as I had hoped, and the bike arrived in amazing condition. As I have bought the bike without seeing, there is also a 14 day cooling off period if I change my mind or am unhappy. Amazing service all round, and all with really friendly communication. Would definitely buy from Wheels again.

Horrendous. Reported to bank fraud team for investigation

Purchase made online via wheels motorcycles eBay storefront. The short version is that we made a Β£400 purchase, it was not delivered safely. They have claimed against the courier but we have not received any refund from them despite no goods arriving and they have been horrendous with hanging up the phone on us, refusing to discuss the matter, withholding the courier claim investigations info and refusing to share it. Full details below. Courier dumped package at door on main road when house was empty. tracking proof is a photo at closed door. contacted wheels via eBay where the purchase was made to report it wasn't here when we got home. Courier investigation was raised by wheels motorcycles with their courier DPD. A few days later wheels motorcycles raised a case escalation with eBay to close the eBay case we had opened based on the fact there was simply a tracking number. They also made a bizzare written claim in their eBay message without any evidence to support, that the house was not empty and that a female answered the door with a dog, closed the door and asked for the parcel to be left outside. This is a total and utter fabrication being that only 1 female, (myself) lives here and I have proof from the local gym that I was swiped in for and attending an hour long exercise class at the time the attempted delivery was made. So an absolute fallacy. Have an email from the gym with the swipe in info from the system attached confirming I was in attendance. They also accused us of having CCTV (which we don't). eBay bots auto closed the case based on the fact there was a tracking number despite no signature and only a photo of box dumped at the closed door. Wheels motorcycles therefore kept the money despite non receipt of goods. We contacted wheels on the phone three times to be presented with an eBay sided with us attitude it's your own problem to sort out with courier and put the phone down each time. I have phone recordings of the calls to demonstrate how rude they were to us. On the last call we were told management have told us not to talk to you and again phone hung up on us. Our contract for goods was with wheels motorcycles the retailer, not with the courier. Wheels motorcycles have no regard for this at all and totally disregard their legal obligation to make sure the customer receives the goods they've paid for. They just fob us off saying sort it out with the courier. When we call the courier they correctly state that our contract is with wheels motorcycles not with them, and it's the responsibility of wheels as the retailer to refund us. It's only their responsibility to deal with the claim that their client (wheels) has made. The courier driver who incorrectly delivered the package to us has since visited us and shown us on his phone an email that his pay has been docked as a result of the investigation being decided in favour of wheels motorcycles. We have not received a penny of a refund from wheels as present. We have received an ebay message from wheels 24hrs after being hung on up multiple times on the phone and the message states that the courier case is not concluded. This conflicts with the info we have been shown on the driver's phone. We have now passed this over to our bank fraud team with and will also be reporting wheels motorcycles to both trading standards and HMRC.

Right bunch of Cowboys

brought a bike via the internet the bike was a triumph speed triple with what they said was full service history but on the 12k service it had just written in it oil, oil filter that was it this is when the valve clearances should have been done, after 10 days of having the bike it developed a missfire which in turn made the engine sound louder, contacted wheels they collected the bike after having it for two weeks they delivered it back to me saying there is nothing wrong with the bike so the bike was still the same after riding the bike for about another 2 weeks to and from work and the occasional ride out, it then became more difficult to ride at slow speed so contacted wheels again who basically said i was lying. but one of the customer services team booked the bike in to be collected. so it was collected again about a week later they had the bike for another 17 days before it was returned with the same problem. i took the bike to a triumph dealer near me and the list of problems they diagnosed came to a total of Β£2.650.47 so the bike should never have been sold in the first place. this is when i rejected the bike and after 9 months of fighting the finance company have given me the money back only because i got the financial ombudsman involved. i advise you not to purchase a bike form these cowboys. all they want is your money and then your on your own.

DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE / AFTER CAREWhen you are there to buy a brand new…

When you go to WHEELS to buy a brand new bike the staff could not be more helpful. My son is 19 years old and worked a Saturday job to save up enough money to be able to buy a brand new bike. He did this so that he felt safe & secure in the knowledge that if he had any issues at all, he would be in good hands. This is not what happened, nowhere near. All I can say is that 'Wheels' is extremely helpful when you want to buy a bike but not so much when you need their help if something goes wrong. They will come up with every excuse possible to avoid having anything fixed or even looked at under warranty. They continuously state that you need to read the user manual but when asked where to find certain information, which page to look at they have no idea and cannot answer the question. No matter what you say, it is like banging your head against a brick wall, nothing is heard. My son has been treated disgracefully, dismissed without a second thought and basically hung out to rot. WHEELS, you should be ashamed. Please think carefully before you purchase a bike from this company.

Living in the north, I’ve never heard of Wheels until this purchase. Happy with the service, best price I had seen after searching the internet and local stores. Delivery was quick and I’ll definitely consider wheels in future!
