The best water company in my experience. Well run and sympathetic with customers when things go wrong at their property - as it did at mine when I was away! I got the problem fixed asap on my return but was expecting to get stung for the water used but Wessex Water didn’t hit me with a massive charge. They sent my case to a special board who decided I’d done my best to stop the wasted water and therefore didn’t deserve to get punished. I got a small nominal charge and that was it! That made me realise they’re a good company. That’s backed up by the total lack of any bad stories in the news about them. My advice - move to an area served by Wessex Water!

I was very pleased with the overall service to resolve an unexpected issue. Having logged the issue out of hours using the online tool I was impressed with the immediate response meaning the next morning the issue had been resolved. Compliments to the process allowing me to relay information and all those who contributed to issue resolution.

The customer service advisor who took our call was very helpful and Rudy was with us in a couple of hours. He was polite, diligent and kept us informed throughout the process, carrying out the job very thoroughly.

On 17/7/25 we had Riley W attend our property for a drain blockage. He was only a young man but I was very impressed with his level of knowledge & the info he shared with us. He really was a credit to the company as he was prompt, presentable & polite. When he finished the job, our garden was left exactly as he had found it, clean & tidy. I was even impressed with how fast Wessex responded to my online enquiry, they called me the same day & next morning Riley was at my property. Thank you Wessex for sending a charming & efficient member of staff.

I contacted Wessex water about a condition in my mortgage offer which required inspection of my sewage and drainage facilities. I didn’t have to wait very long to speak to somebody which was good, and they were very kind and helpful. Even though the request wasn’t a usual thing for them, An employee visited the house within a few days and provided the evidence needed to satisfy the requirement. Thank you very much for being so helpful.

The plumber, Dan, arrived promptly at 11am to fit a water meter in my sister in laws house. She is disabled, he was so kind and explained everything to her. He was friendly and professional and carried out the work efficiently. He cleared up behind himself and left everything clean and tidy. What a lovely guy. An asset to the company

I had cause to contact Wessex Water as a landlord renting a house that was empty for two months, I had received an invoice for water usage which I queried, I was able to prove that the house was empty for that period and delighted that WW agreed to cancel the account, the staff were at all times very sympathetic helpful and efficient, a great example of public service.

I made contact with Wessex water. They answered all my questions with calm and efficiency.

I called Wessex Water at 10am today to report a blocked sewer. David and Ben arrived just before midday and cleared the blockage. They worked efficiently, kept us updated on progress and offered advice relating to issues with our drainage. Thank you both.

The chat was easy to do. I was given a lot of help which I was not expecting.

I thought the person on other end of phone wasn't thoughtful,.I explained im on a low budget so needed the amount built up in account to pay other bills ...and all they said was if you do that you will owe us money at next bill ... I found offensive

Logged in to online chat as we were having an issue with water pressure, spoke to Liam who was very helpful and offered to create a job if the pressure didn't improve.
