Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

The end of Voxi

Been using Voxi for a few years without any trouble, then they switched off my internet data for watching UK TV which is listed under the Unlimited Video service. After 24 hours of frustrating support conversation, they admitted to stealing data by deducting what should have been covered by Unlimited Video, but then refused to give it back. They disconnected me and refused to reconnect my account. That was the Voxi support team, and for those of you thinking how great it is for Vodafone to reply here and offer to help, stop! Because I contacted Vodafone after Voxi wasted my time, and Vodafone did exactly the same thing, another 24 hours out of the same playbook, "treat customers as idiots, keep repeating the same responses, change names, then act as if you don't know and make the customer repeat themselves over and over until they give up and leave us alone, and in the end, send them to the help chatbot to get rid of them!" I had 4 different people ask me the same question in succession in the same chat window. It's like that game where they pass the conversation on to the next person, but don't tell them what went before. its like the goldfish going one more time around the bowl, and forgetting everything in the process. And then after doing that for 24 hours they tell you to go talk to a different department, where you can start again. As a customer experience, it's shocking but consistent, so no doubt that's how they planned it to be. It's the experience they want you to have. And after 48 hours of being asked the same question by different support people, I gave up, but even then they continued to tell me what an excellent service they were providing, and that they were all fantastic at their jobs. I told them their service was the worst, but they corrected me and told me I was wrong. In the end, they frustrated me so much they got their way, they won, I couldn't bang my head against the wall any longer. If you using Voxi, and think you're getting free video streaming, think again. Go and check, because your data will be going down the drain, but even when they admit it, you won't get anything out of them. Anywhere else, it's called stealing, false advertising. I've cut this short, because I've had enough, but a truly appalling display of big company couldn't care less about what they had done, but when they're not listening, its hard to get anyone to understand and do anything about their own errors.

Never been able to access my account, had hours of my time wasted

I left my previous provider and signed up with Voxi in November 2024 when they were offering 80gb for £10 a month for Black Friday, but I have never been able to log in to my account. I've spent hours on the live chat over the past few months and I've spoken to nearly 10 different agents and each time I get walked through the exact same troubleshooting steps about clearing my cache and using different browsers and them sending me new login details, and it just never works. One of the last agents I spoke to said it must be an issue with my device, even though I have been using 3 different devices, and a variety of different browsers and following all the advice they've given each time. I've since looked on Reddit as well as reading the reviews here and it seems this has been an ongoing issue for a lot of Voxi users for at least 5 years now, so I just don't think it's going to get fixed. I'm so angry about having my time wasted on the live chat to the agents when it's clear that the issue just isn't going to be fixed. The data deal was really good value but I'm going to be looking for alternatives because not being able to access my own account feels way too sketchy.

Worst customer service experience ever.

Worst customer service experience ever. Spoke with Bach, Bhavna and Shahejad, ALL OF THEM have no empathy at all, Bhavna helped herself to my settings without my permission and turned everything off in hopes it would end our chat conversation online because I had asked to complain. I was promised 2 month free plan because of Bhavna helping herself to my settings. Bhavna told me she couldn’t set up the plans and I had to contact her at the time it needs to be renewed but that wasn’t the case at all. They constantly have you waiting on the chat while they do nothing, they threaten you with the “there has been no conversation I will close the chat in 3 minutes” WHILE your in the middle of a conversation. It’s disgusting, they simply cannot be bothered to do their job !! DO BETTER !!!! And before you reply telling me to contact customer service for more help, PLEASE don’t insult me, I am leaving voxi because of your customer service !!! And lack of empathy and understanding !!!

I havent been able to see my plan on my account for over a year, the only way I can contact voxi i through messenger, and I get passed between multiple contacts, the issue is never resolved, and im still trying to see what plan im on, AVOID

replacement SIM

I lost my phone so needed a replacement SIM, spoke to Mish at VOXI online help desk. Positive experience from start to finish, Mish dealt with all aspects of the ordering process in a professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner. Set up the plan and made the whole process seamless. Thank you Mish, you an asset to the company.

Very poor service

Very poor service. Do not use this network if you go abroad often as you pay extra for services you don't receive. Took 5 days before I could receive or make calls before someone from voxi sorted it. Contacted them on Facebook and they take hours between reply and each time its a different person and I have to repeat everything to them. Think it could be ai as they all say the same stuff. Voxi is very unreliable when using abroad

Made the horrible mistake switching too…

Made the horrible mistake switching too voxi from three Instantly regret it , have had too ask my bank too open a dispute for both payments My advice is use carrier pigeon not voxi mobile absolutely as bad as Three AVOID AVOID AVOID No i won't contact, voxi have caused enough issues
