Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Was with Voxi for 2 years

Was with Voxi for 2 years, but has been disappointed time and again, Thier unlimited promises on different platforms just seems a facade to lure one in with no resolution in case of disputes over data usage. The website has not got better, they don't have an easy to use app and then for somethings you need to rely on Vodafone website that too doesn't seem to work.

Scam company, stealing money.

Disgusting customer service, 100% scam no refunds. So i ordered a phone on the 14/05/2025, i REFUSED delivery on 16/05/2025 due to a change of mind, it's now 09/06/2025 and they keep saying either "we 've never got the phone back or that i have it, when the tracking clearly shows i refused it and they have it back. Since then i've had multiple agents close chat on me, one saying they got it back on 19/05/2025 and i will get a refund, yet nothing has happend DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, im not trying to get my money back via paypal, i gave paypal all the information needed and voxi has actually replied to them with a fake tracking number, one that has nothing to do with my order! The way i can prove it is with DPD you need to put in the delivery postcode for more information which does not work with the new tracking information they have given, yet the tracking number i got with my order does work with my postcode, how can a company scam people like this?

Avoid Voxi - much better deals elsewhere

Is there a more incompetent support team? I left Voxi for talk mobile and glad I did as I can speak with someone . I’m owed £1 and 3 hours of trying to get a refund , each time customer service take 30-50 mins to read my account history then take my bank details and yep every time they just don’t transfer the money . I’m so happy I left Voxi . It’s the principle , awful service don’t deserve my money and I wish there was a way to get back the time I wasted with these fools .

Absolutely useless customer service

Absolutely useless customer service - life's too short. Used for 2 years. Switched to eSim to roam via app abroad, then had nothing but problems. No calls, no data, etc etc. 3 x 45 min sessions with "help" who just kept reading the flow chart but wouldn't answer any questions of give any info, just send the same re-set stuff over and over. Worked for some hours then stopped again. On third time, I said I wanted someone to actually look at why this was constantly failing. "No need, it will work this time" was the answer. You can guess the rest. Plus side, got a far better deal elsewhere. Summary: If it works, you're in luck. If it doesn't, just get a PAC code immediately and avoid a ton of pain and wasted time. Oh, and they will NEVER tell you that you could be on a better deal with them.

Disgraceful customer service

Disgraceful customer service 4 phone calls to try to get my Vodafone number transferred over to the Voxi e-sim. Promised 4 times this would be done, still waiting. Haven’t used the Voxi e-sim as needed my Vodafone number porting to Voxi before I can close the Vodafone account. Refused refund because I was out of the 2 weeks grace period, swift to close the account down though. If something is too good to be true it usually is.

Very poor service.

Very poor service. Doesn't have a phone to help people who are disslecstic. Courses the problem in the first place by sending useless codes that don't work. Companies like this should not be allowed to run. There not set up help people who have problems with reading righting or spelling. On top of all of that they then tried to get me to rejoin them and Vodafone knowing they can't provide a stable service. Just proves they don't care about there customers and only care about money! Don't recommend this company or Vodafone one bit as customer care is not important to them!

Highly recommend

Highly recommend. Good quality, good customer care. Unfortunately no roaming, you gotta pay for that now. But I owe voxi a lot as they kept my sim card active for a very long time when I did not use it, and reactivated it for free when I needed it.

If you live in Chatham kent they can…

If you live in Chatham kent they can only provide you with mobile data for just 14 days per calendar month, for the last 6 months as the totally useless vodaphone phone mask is broken most of the time, its repaired only to break over and over again, currently been out of action since last Friday, so another 2 weeks left before I get my 14 days of mobile data again. Update no signal till 10th June, back working 11th June till 15th June Broken again now been a week without a mobile data connection, fed up of this useless company, thrown sim card into the dustbin where this company belongs got a EE sim with A super fast 5G connection now, I wish i would of got one sooner instead of putting up with this rubbish network.

Vodafone coverage outages lasting a long time

My last review a few years ago was positive - and I have been with them for several years but this year have started getting Vodafone outages for days / up to a week each time at home. Happened in both April and May '25. No prior warning you would be getting no internet coverage for up to a week! This isn't acceptable when people rely on it (I don’t have broadband). If it’s maintenance - inform people in advance, if it’s a technical issue - needs to be resolved far quicker. The Voxi customer service team are quite helpful (on the phone, not via chat) however they can’t resolve Vodafone outages of course. Not only that they can’t simply give you compensation or a refund, you have to call all over again before your plan renews and they have to remove the plan then add it back etc - rediculous process. Looking to move to another network as cannot rely on the coverage. Unfortunately I bought a three sim as backup and just seen they've merged. :-l Also cannot get a VAT receipt or any idea of data usage if on an unlimited plan. In response - there is absolutely no point in calling again as coverage is ok again and all your staff ever say is sorry there is nothing they can do.
