Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London β€” no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying Β£10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget β€” and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

I believe this to be a scam

I tired to access my account but couldn't. Used live chat to help but he took all my details and I still couldn't access my account after resetting multiple times. He gave me a number to ring to complain but that number does not recognise my account and now I fear I have been scammed as he asked far too many questions than I was happy with ** After reply contacted them via links provided. Made no difference, still can't access my own account *** still can't access account and have now had someone on live chat (foreign) ask for my card details so he can enter them because I'm going to be cut off in two days. Be very careful

Voxi is very bad never use this

It is so bad,it's the slowest I have seen and you can't restart you plan once you finish it and you have to pay a expensive amount of 3Β£ per gigabit of data I'd much rather just buy a new e-sim from 3 or ee rather than use this slow pricy network

Unbelievably poor service.

So far it's been pretty awful. Data speeds are up and down like a yoyo. But the real kicker is I've lost my phone and voxi/vodaphone seem to have made it near impossible to order a new one. The Facebook AI just asks you the same questions over and over and ask you to login to your account which I can't do because I can't receive a one-time passcode to a phone I have lost! You call vodaphone and they refer you to the chat on the voxi website which is even more incompetent than the Facebook chat one! Why should it be so difficult/so far impossible to order a replacement SIM?? I'm paying monthly for the poorest service I've ever had from a company that's been in business for what... 25 years? You would think they would have cracked the customers service puzzle by now.

The Best!

Best phone provider out there. I have been with all mainstream providers and voxi is number one in my humble opinion. 1 month rolling contracts, great signal and speeds at all locations. Free stuff every month of so.

Cancelled contract. Still tried to take payment

My son cancelled the contract as he lost his phone, which I paid for . They still tried to take payment from my account and stated his account had not been cancelled.

Slow delivery of SIM card, and poor internet connection

The SIM card took two months to arrive. I ordered it in February 2025, and for weeks, customer service claimed it was on the wayβ€”until they admitted it was lost. I had to place a second order, which finally arrived in May. The internet is also unreliable and often doesn't work indoors and is poor in many areas. Definitely not worth the hype. Not recommended.

I think they are scam

I think they are scam. I was guaranteed and paid for one service was charged for months afterwards. I have the paperwork showing my service plan and then how the service was no longer available to me and then they kept charging me. It took me months to get through to them and finally when I did they refused to reimburse me for a service that wasn't even available to me! It's maddening the lack of integrity!

Ordered a phone and sim plan

Ordered a phone and sim plan. New phone arrived on friday, yet didnt receive esim activation email. Got in contact via fb and they said wld be resolved within 24hrs.. heard nothing then again they said 24hrs. This continued until monday and they still cldnt resolve the issue. Said they dont send new simcards for new phones! They have taken my money and now have to cancel sim plan so still have a new phone i cant use and no clear idea what is going on. Worst customer service i have ever experienced.
