Vessi Footwear Reviews

I bought a pair of Bessie shoes less than a month ago. I’ve worn them several times and they got dirty. I followed the instructions on the website re cleaning. They are still filthy! Expensive for what I got. A real disappointment made worse when I discovered that they are not manufactured in Canada.

I purchased an e-gift card from the Vessi web site on April 30th and it was never delivered to me. I tried to contact them through the support contact on their web site but it was really just an AI Agent. It told me that my inquiry would be referred to a "human" but no one has bothered to respond to me at all. Vessi has a phone number but it is also 100% non-human - just a few options to listen to various recordings. I lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau where I also found that Vessi has a rating of "D" (as in a very close to failing grade). I have also begun a process with my bank to have the transaction declared fraudulent to get my money back. Zero response from Vessi which makes me think they might be one of those fly by night shady companies. I would not trust them.

They make good waterproof shoes for damp cities. A friend from Vancouver recommended these shoes to me and I love them, they slip on easily and I don't need to worry about what to wear in the spring/fall weather where the forecast is unpredictable. Gotta admit though, searching their name flags you for infinite ads. That gets annoying.

Everywhere I look has is flooded by ads for these. The only waterproof shoes in would want are rain boots. If shoes are water proof that means they aren't breathable, which means I'm going to be standing in pools of sweat, shoes NEED to be breathable, I'm not standing in a river all day of I was I would wear boots that cover higher than my ankles. I will NEVER buy from this company. I block one whoever is posting the ad for this company school on with my day and next thing I know there is ANOTHER AD FOR THEM. I've blocked at least 10 different accounts TODAY for them because of this constant bombardment.

These are waterproof until they're not. My feet didn't get totally soaked in a recent rainstorm, but that's only because I pulled my toe out in time. They're great shoes until that happens. The big problem for me was that there was no sign of visible damage, so it's impossible to predict when it will happen. I understand I wore them a lot, and wear and tear will take place, but not being able to see it is annoying.

Definitely not waterproof. Me and my partner have both bought two pairs, and all 4 pairs had to be refunded as our feet got soaked in puddles. An overpriced product for the quality. Comfortable but not waterproof. All pairs were the boots. Weekend Chelsea

they are really uncomfortable.I have got blisters near my achilles tendon area and i wont recommend them to anyone

I absolutely hate these shoes. They do not fit properly. Return process is awful. Such a hassle and customer service is not great. Both my husband and I bought shoes to travel and mine felt like they fit at first but by the end of our trip my heel was coming out of the shoe. My husbands shoes leaked and his front toe was soaking wet. After many emails trying to resolve both issues they offered an exchange for my husbands shoes. We donated both pairs to value village. Beware buying. Especially online.

Purchased for trip to Italy from US. Shipped quickly. Fit perfect. I brought 3 pairs of shoes and only wore the Vessis. No breaking in and so comfortable for 6 days of walking all day. Very satisfied!

Vessi sent me the wrong order. I reached out to support. The support representative was responsive and did the best their could to resolve my problem. However, the process itself is terrible. Vessi sent me the wrong order, and instead of sending a replacement order right away, they demanded i first provide evidence that i have sent the wrong order back before even beginning the process of sending the correct one (which took like a week btw). Considering this was a mistake on Vessi's side, this was a terrible experience, and shows a lack of trust on the customer. In addition, the replacement order box arrived teared up and looks as if had been opened (did the send me the order that another customer received by mistake??). I cant even imagine how much more i would have to wait if the size hadnt fit, assuming the process would not get mixed up again. I will certainly think twice in the future before buying from Vessi again.

Went for a walk with some coworkers and at the beginning of the walk was telling them how my shoes are waterproof. By the middle of the walk the front toe part of my socks and feet were wet and I was too embarrassed to say anything since I had just told people how everyone in Vancouver should get waterproof shoes.

I bought the weekend shoes and they were very uncomfortable and lacked any type of support for my feet. The reason I’m leaving this review here is because I left a review on Vessi website using the link they emailed me to leave a review. The review was NOT posted to the website. Hard to trust a company that filters reviews for its products.

I have been a big Vessi fan for the past couple of years. I own two pairs - the Everyday Move slip-ons, and Stormburst high tops - have brought friends visiting from abroad to the Vessi store to buy their own pairs, and even brought a pair back last Christmas for my brother. The two pairs that I own, I bought around the same time, approximately two years ago. I own quite a few pairs of sneakers, and I don't really wear any one pair super often, so they've remained in good condition ever since I bought them, especially the high tops which I have probably worn fewer than 10 times total since purchase. However, after wearing the Everyday Move slip-ons fairly extensively this winter, they have unfortunately now started leaking water through the toe area. Each time I wear them in wet weather, my socks now come out very wet in the toe area. I figured that this is maybe to be expected after a lot of wear in the last few months (although nonetheless still disappointing given this is the entire USP of the product), so today I decided to swap them out of my rotation for the Stormbursts. After one wear tonight, I was incredibly disappointed to discover that these too are now leaking water through the toecaps as well! This is really unbelievable given how little I've worn them (they look almost brand new). The worst bit to me now is that both of the shoes are outside of warranty, despite having hardly been worn outside of the past few months, and I am almost $400 out of pocket for two pairs of shoes that don't do what they're supposed to do. I feel totally ripped off, especially as a repeat customer, and hope the company might be willing to resolve this situation for me.

Shoes were very stiff and uncomfortable. Sent back within allotted time frame. They advertise free shipping. I was charged $20.25 RESTOCKING fee. Ridiculous. Buyer beware!

Above and beyond customer service! I ordered a pair of Vessi Soho shoes. They were advertised as a narrow fit and true to size. Unfortunately they were not a narrow fit and more like a half size larger than normal. As this was a final purchase I could not return. I did reach out to Vessi advising of the issue and their response time and service outstanding. I was able to prove these were not fitting as expected and they refunded my money. So what did I do??? I ordered another pair of Vessi's (I already had an older pair and generally love the shoe). I ordered the Market flat and have to say these blew me away. They fit true to size and the most comfortable shoe I have tried on straight from the box. No breaking in period. The foot bed is extremely comfortable, like wearing a slipper. I have been wearing them around the house for a couple of days so have not tested them in wet weather. But like I mentioned before, I have an older pair of City Gate Vessi's and after about 7 years they are starting to wear out. I am going on an overseas trip later this year and they will be my main shoe. Vessi - well done!

I purchased these for work where there’s a lot of puddles I walk through & squeegee a lot. Only had them for about a month and splashes still soak through the sides of my shoe. I was disappointed with them and was just gonna wear them anyways and accept they don’t work. But then they started to have a bad mildew smell that I couldn’t wear them anymore. I tried contacting customer support multiple times. I keep receiving a generic email saying “someone will contact you in 9days” my first complaint was back in the beginning of December and I haven’t heard back yet. I’ve been emailing them once a week and haven’t heard anything. Their customer support isn’t very customer friendly. And my shoes didn’t last more than a month.

Update: Changed review from 1 to a 5 star. Customer service was outstanding in their response to my concern below. In the span of 4 hours, I was on my way to a resolution! It’s not about just the initial experience, but also how they respond to issues - and this was worthy of 5 stars! ————————————————————— Ordered the same size as I have in the past. The shoes were on Boxing week sale - guess I missed the fine print of "final sale"...well, they don't size the same and are very tight on my feet. Got to be some way I can return these? Or is the end of my relationship with Vessi...

I ordered these 2 months ago and still waiting g for them

Ordered shoes and had payment deducted a few days later. Got a vague tracking email in Chinese. Over 20 days later it says delivered, but I haven't received a package or a reply to my messages. Really bad company Sort out #1QF-aa3061-mf883

This isn't a review for Vessi's but it is about their refund policy. I was well past the 1 year warranty and my shoes started to leak badly. I contacted customer support through their email form and wrote a honest review on this site. Within 24 hours I had received a full refund on my credit card. Thank you, Vessi for being pretty stand up in customer service.
