Ga naar Cicar

Door een vluchtvertraging in China kon mijn kameraad 2 dagen later aanwezig zijn in Lanzarote. Ik had al een wagen van bij Cicar. Dus ik met zijn vrouw naar de luchthaven, want alles was al betaald. Totaal geen begrip daar en zeker geen hulp. Zelfs een arrogant lachje. Ze kreeg hem niet mee omdat haar man hem geboekt heeft. Terwijl ze wel als chauffeur opstaat. Na 2 dagen kreeg zelfs haar man hem niet meer omdat je de auto binnen 24 uur moet ophalen. Nooit meer Topcar... Wij noemen het flopcar. Nu nog hopen dat ze het geld terugkrijgen.

Avons récupéré les informations et dû payer une assurance supplémentaire tout risque de 68 € pour 15 jours et avons du aller récupérer les clés à un autre endroit sans grande explication. Le GPS ne fonctionnait pas de retour en agence refus de changer de voiture car pas d'autres voitures avec un GPS. Vidange a 1200km. Pneus dégonflés...

Fantástica experiencia!!

Fantástica experiencia!!! Lo aconsejo totalmente. Habíamos reservado un descapotable pequeño, y nos dieron por el mismo precio un precioso TRoc, nuevecito. El trato también muy agradable, así que repetiremos.

Only with topcar this problem not with others

I booked a car on xpedia ( this company tried their best) but topcar is the worst company ever Don’t book with them My wife has no creditcard of herself So I did the booking I gave her my passport picture the booking confirmation and my creditcard that I used to book this car She is not allowed to collect this car It is paid in full until 3/8 20 days from now They said the car will be available 24 h after collection date How is this possible if you show up ? I can believe this is you don’t show up Other carcompany I don’t have this problem

Unsafe crashed vehicle substituted, avoid

Booked a VW Caddy (or ‘equivalent’) through Jet2 from TopCar in Lanzarote, we did this specifically for sliding doors and load space as we have young children, we also booked car seats at the same time. Unfortunately when we arrived at the TopCar desk things got off to a disappointing start. We were handed a key to a Dacia wrapped in sellotape, and a car seat that didn’t match the weight range we’d order (not safe for a 3 year old). It later turned out the Dacia not only didn’t have the sliding doors and enough space for our luggage (Dacia has roughly half the boot space of a Caddy) but had also done over 38 thousand km, impressive on an island only 60km north to south. Things went from disappointing to worse when we found the car as it had suffered a rear collision, with damage to the boot and rear quarters. This meant the rear parking sensors were jammed permanently on having been pushed into the bumper. Going round from the damaged rear there was also damage into the windscreen in the middle of the drivers vision alongside the usual minor dings in most panels commensurate with a car that has racked up a lot of miles. Looking beyond the crash damage and wear and tear the good news is the tyres had tread and steering directed the car. Unfortunately the good news was short lived as a myriad of flashing red and amber lights on the dashboard told us to stop and we had to pull to the side of the road. Stuck on the side of the main road with traffic passing at speed we tried to open the bonnet, which it turned out was jammed stuck, presumably having not been opened in some time. After some persuasion while dodging the passing traffic we eventually got it open, and promptly found that the fluids were low or empty. We honestly did not expect this when booking through jet2 or a regulated airport rental place, We didn’t get the car we ordered or a suitable equivalent one as advertised. We were supplied one that had been crashed, with an amount of preventable issues that put it in a condition somewhere between unusable and unsafe. This feedback was also provided to TopCar before posting this review, no response was received.

Honest and friendly

We rented a car at Gran Canaria airport (LPA) for 2 weeks. The staff at the desk was friendly and efficient. Our car was dirty (on the outside, inside was clean), had no wiper fluid and had mild damages all over but the staff assured me: don't worry - we know, it's in the system. We refilled the wiper fluid and returned the car cleaner than it was with the same amount of gas. The return at the airport again went fast and the staff was friendly. 24 hours later the deposit was already returned on my credit card. Topcar delivered and kept its promise (as did we). Well done!

Loueur à fuir.

Bonjour. Nous avons loué le 29 MARS 2025 à 20H08. Une Citroën C3 avec 54500 KMS au compteur. Tout d'abord 45 minutes d'attente au guichet, puis les 12 travaux d'Astérix avant de récupérer la voiture sur un parking extérieur sans éclairage. Pas de lave glace, 2 pneus avant usés à 80% une honte, j'ai une photo. Nous n'avons pas osé nous servir pleinement du véhicule de peur d'exploser un pneu. Nous avions pris le service Super Cover et heureusement.

Very poor service

I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Top Car TENERIFE. We unfortunately had a puncture. I could not get through on any contact numbers for over 14hrs despite ringing multiple (13+) times and leaving messages. No response until the following day when I tried the WhatsApp. What if I had broken down and been stranded? A woman and child alone - awful! The car was swapped efficiently and we were told we would have a price for the new tyre in hours. It took 5 days. When the quote came back I was told that there was replacement of both tyres needed and wheel damage. We didn’t drive the car with the tyre flat. We have multiple photos of wheel with no damage. It was only driven on to the truck by there associate. I believe we should have payed €125 for the tyre not the higher cost of €180 associated with ‘damage’ that was not evident. When I questioned this I have had no response. I will not use them again. Only positive it that the deposit minus the charge was back on the day we were given final documents. 3 days after leaving the island.

Pas d’expérience de location juste celle d’une réservation Alors oui c’est beaucoup moins chère mais vous n’avez aucun service client. Même par mail. Réservation de 2 van a Grand Canaria et à Fuerteventura mail de confirmation J_3....

Good experience

We got it with full insurance when we were at Tenerife, we didn't experience any problems. I paid with card in the reception and had to pay a deposit, that was a bit weird, but the money was returned in full after we delivered the car (1 day after). All in all a good experience.

Avoid if you don’t want huge fees

Booked as part of a package with Jet 2. Tried to charge extra for insurance which it very clearly states is included with the package and the rep was very rude when this was questioned. The car was collected from a very dimly lit car park which is obviously to make it much harder to see damage. We were told there was no damage to the car and yet when we checked we found damage in multiple places. We photographed all of these and emailed them to the company but apparently it wasn’t received as that email only works in a different office. We’ve yet to return the vehicle but will no doubt be faced with extra charges when we do as they stated the car was in perfect condition which it was very far from! Totally scam of a company and avoid if you can!

Scammers avoid

Scammers avoid. You pay for full insurance indemnity from Ryanair and they don’t accept it and charge you again. The person behind the counter said they don’t care and then started joking with the colleague at my expense. WOW! So bad it hurt! Topcar? More like TopScam

Consigliatissimo affidatevi a questo autonoleggio senza alcun pensiero!

Siamo arrivati allo sportello dell'aeroporto di fuerteventura e in meno di 10 minuti eravamo in automobile. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatto presente che compreso nel prezzo c'era anche il secondo guidatore , anche la riconsegna è stata veloce senza alcun problema

Nicht an Absprachen gehalten

Wir mussten am Abholtag trotz wochenlanger Reservierung auf unser Auto warten. Nach 100 km leuchtete das Licht für Adblue auf. Wir haben nachgetankt. Bei Abgabe des Fahrzeuges wurde uns unter Zeugen zugesichert, dass wir das Geld erstattet bekommen. Wir sollen uns an den Kundenservice wenden. In Deutschland zurück, kann man sich an nichts mehr erinnern. Nach mehrmaligen Schreiben habe ich aufgegen und geschrieben sie mögen mit dem Geld und den Lügen glücklich werden. War eventuell etwas frech, aber der Service ist sehr ätzend. Finger weg!
