Door een vluchtvertraging in China kon mijn kameraad 2 dagen later aanwezig zijn in Lanzarote. Ik had al een wagen van bij Cicar. Dus ik met zijn vrouw naar de luchthaven, want alles was al betaald. Totaal geen begrip daar en zeker geen hulp. Zelfs een arrogant lachje. Ze kreeg hem niet mee omdat haar man hem geboekt heeft. Terwijl ze wel als chauffeur opstaat. Na 2 dagen kreeg zelfs haar man hem niet meer omdat je de auto binnen 24 uur moet ophalen. Nooit meer Topcar... Wij noemen het flopcar. Nu nog hopen dat ze het geld terugkrijgen.
Avons récupéré les informations et dû payer une assurance supplémentaire tout risque de 68 € pour 15 jours et avons du aller récupérer les clés à un autre endroit sans grande explication. Le GPS ne fonctionnait pas de retour en agence refus de changer de voiture car pas d'autres voitures avec un GPS. Vidange a 1200km. Pneus dégonflés...

Lo aconsejo totalmente. Habíamos reservado un descapotable pequeño, y nos dieron por el mismo precio un precioso TRoc, nuevecito.
El trato también muy agradable, así que repetiremos.
I booked a car on xpedia ( this company tried their best) but topcar is the worst company ever

My wife has no creditcard of herself
So I did the booking
I gave her my passport picture the booking confirmation and my creditcard that I used to book this car
She is not allowed to collect this car
It is paid in full until 3/8 20 days from now
They said the car will be available 24 h after collection date
How is this possible if you show up ?
I can believe this is you don’t show up

One star for lying to the customer, providing a defective car, and applying the arbitrary charges later. Do not trust assurances from the TopCar employees. Force them to fill defect sheet when you pick up the car.
I rented a car from TopCar at Lanzarote airport on February 28. It had multiple scratches and a low tire pressure indicator. Despite assurances that photos would prevent issues, TopCar later charged me for the flat tire. I filed a complaint (case D009479217) but received a generic boilerplate response. Be cautious when renting from TopCar; they may impose arbitrary charges.
Ravie d'avoir loué notre voiture avec Topcar à Gran Canaria ! L'une des seules agences à accepter encore la carte de débit en échange d'un prélèvement de 200 € remboursé immédiatement au retour de la voiture. Rapide et efficace sont les maîtres mots, tant sur la récupération du véhicule que sur le retour.
Ottima compagnia di noleggio, grazie per la semplicità del ritiro e riconsegna dell’auto. Dato un auto di categoria superiore a quella richiesta senza maggiorazione dell’importo.

Obwohl ich online reserviert hatte und bereits alle Daten angegeben hatte, musste der Herr bei der Übernahme nochmals handschriftlich alle Daten in ein Formular eingeben!
A service how it should be at Topcar Lanzarote Airport! Everything was more than OK. I booked via rentalcars and I always take the full insurance via rentalcar itself. It's always the same story then when you come to pickup the car... Additional insurance for 30 euro? No, thank you, I'm already fully covered... You're really sure sir? Yes, I'm sure :D Topcar Lanzarote was super friendly and willing to help and explain more than once what we had to do :) Top experience and would recommend this hiring company based on my 1time experience :)
All’aeroporto mi hanno consegnato l’auto (piccola) sporca e malfunzionante, il giorno seguente mi sono recato nell’ufficio a me più vicino per far controllare l’auto che immediatamente è stata sostituita con una di classe superiore senza sovrapprezzo e senza chiedere il rimborso del carburante da me già consumato. Faccio i complimenti a Ugo che lavora nell’ufficio di Playa del Inglès persona molto cortese e preparata e a Top Car per l’ottimo servizio.
The car I was given had so many bumps , scratches and dings - I counted over 30 ( I took photos and sent to them )but I didn’t have the time to change it as had to get to my accommodation.
The car was terrible and had a warning light on when starting to drive it .They did offer a replacement 3 days later but I decided it was not worth while with only a few days left of the holiday .
They also duped me out of €60 euros by charging me for fuel as the hire sheet said the car was full when it was only two - thirds full .I sent them a picture .I filled the car to three quarters full on return and the reception staff said that was fine but they still docked the charge from my deposit refund. I have complained but heard nothing .
This is the worst car hire company I have ever dealt with and I have driven in many countries.
On the plus side the staff are pleasant but do not get back to you quickly.
Save yourself some hassle and use someone else.
Avoid at all costs, aggressive and confrontational
Possibly the rudest customer rep I have ever met sadly. Very abrupt, confrontational and came from her office area face to face with me to argue when I advised the car was too small vs what I had booked. In the process of trying to get a refund, however I urge any potential customers please avoid at all costs. Aggressive and actually quite scary to deal with.
