Sent me the wrong fittings

Sent me the wrong fittings. I sent pictures of what I needed and how many. And they didn’t send what I have asked for. Can't get a straight answer from anyone. Dom never calls back. I am still waiting fora call back from 4 days ago. Useless

Avoid these scammers.

Avoid these scammers. I have experienced extremely poor service, having been misled by the sales agents, the information on the website, and the so-called Customer Service and support teams. Resulting in unexpected financial impact to myself. I purchased an underfloor heating kit for a small area of 1.1m². Both the agent and the website confirmed that the kit I was interested in would fit this space. Upon delivery, I began to install the cabling and found I had an excess of 7m of cable remaining, which cannot be cut. I then fitted the cable as tightly as possible according to the instructions, with a minimum gap of 5cm between each return, and still had an excess cable length of 2.6m. I subsequently proved, using mathematical logic and diagrams (as they clearly need things drawing out in crayon), that the cable length supplied with this kit (22.5m) was impossible to fit into a space of 1.1m² with a minimum gap of 5cm between each length. Their support team even argued that square edges on the return would take up more of the excess cable than a loop (semi-circle). Clearly, their maths is not as sharp as their ability to mislead customers at the point of sale. Square edges based on 5cm gaps take up 15cm (3 sides of the square), but the circumference, and therefore length of cable used, of the semi-circle (with a 5cm diameter) would only take up 7.85cm, leaving even more excess cable. After proving that the cable kit sold to me does not fit the required space (despite being informed it would at the point of sale), they chose to no longer respond to my emails or return my calls, as promised numerous times by their so-called Customer Service. Additionally, the kit cannot be returned for a refund as it has been opened. I have since had to purchase another cable kit that fits the required space. This is an utterly appalling and misleading service, with inaccurate information provided by their sales team and website. Their customer service team offers anything but customer service, and their support team appears to be inadequate and incapable of applying basic mathematical logic. Looking at some other reviews it appears this company has a track record of not issuing refunds in cases where it is fully warranted. I wish I had read these beforehand and prior to ordering from these scammers. Based on this shambles of a company’s response below “Please get in contact with us if you ned any further help on this matter - we'd be more than happy to help” - were my numerous emails and phone calls not sufficient?

The right stuff from the right people!

Our undefloor heating failed in our conservatory - Huge concerns for stone floor being pulled up to rectify etc etc Following a little online research, the obvious choice was to try the thermostat/switch first.. Found these guys. Sensible switches and thermostats at very sensible prices and some good stuff on their site.. I had changed the thermostats a few years (around seven) back so was a shade wary this would be the issue. As a result I decided to not overspend on replacements (Got to do both so they are the same, despite Kitchen one still working!!) but found some very sensibly priced new ones that would also link via app to my phone.. I mean, why not?! The conservatory thermostat is buried beneath all our coats!! Decided to get a real Spark in to switch them for me - also just to be sure there wasn’t a further, floor pulling issue. Luckily. Two thermostats swapped fairly easily by Mr Spark and situation all good!! Service from these guys was great however did not need Customer Service etc so can’t comment.. Surley that, in itself, speaks volumes?!? Mr Spark commented that the thermostats were good and seems the app works well too.. Always good to get the right stuff from the right people. That’s these guys!! Thank you. Likely back in about seven years I guess!! (Still great value!)

Do not buy the "procrate V2" system…

Do not buy the "procrate V2" system (eggcrates) Absolutely no benefit, does not lock together just lifts at the edges, if you try to lock together just breaks. Biggest waste of money ever, just lay the pipe on top of the celotex via a visqueen layer.

Wrong items rcv'd - not great customer service (but think it was down to busy xmas period)

Ordered online and received in good time. However all items were wrong. Ordered 2 bags of cream grout and received ivory. ordered 2 tubes of silicone and received 2 bags of different grout. reported via the website returns and called and received no call back or email. was on hold for over 1/2 hr each time and finally managed to speak to someone. The lady told me i should have sent an email to her department (quite rudely) and not to the services department (as advised by their sales team)! seems that they may be under a lot of pressure and seemed disorganized. On teh plus side they did finally admi tot getting the order wrong and are sending out the correct items (finally)

Beware Faulty Underfloor Heating

Our underfloor heating set fire to the kitchen. On contacting The Underfloor Heating Store firstly they failed to call back as promised. After emailing they complained about the photos so these were resent. We have now heard nothing back and this was after the fire on the 22nd November. The fire could only have been caused by there heating mat and/ or their thermostat. The fact that they have ignored our correspondence is worrying.
