Cardiff east branch have been amazing Came to our new build and seeded the garden and the grass has been just amazing! Darren has been on call if we had any questions and came back to us really quickly! Quote was quick and easy and the work got done not long after. Gentleman that completed the work were lovely and good at what they do. We opt for the monthly direct debit same as family members and we are so far very happy. Cardiff east are a great team
What a fraudulent company.. taking money by DD and rarely showing up, no answer to calls.. just get yoru gardener to do maintenance, lot cheaper as these guys are fraudsters
Removed family cars from the drive to be told they’ve run out of weed killer!! 😡 then said I’ve not got an account, then said it was for a quote ….. terrible customer service I have got an account, I gave you the go ahead regardless of price, …. Will update ratings when/if completed.

Still trying to get a refund from the Basingstoke branch - have phoned every day and escalated to head office. What a crap company

CHELTENHAM BRANCH I’m honestly flabbergasted that these people are still in business. I signed up a few months ago and just trying to get them out for my first appointment has been near on impossible. The first date was changed. I expected a call to re-arrange but nothing so I chased after a month and was given a date for this week. Then it was a no show! I waited in all day for nothing! So I called and was told sorry, it wasn’t in the diary! I was given a new date of 3 December and guess what, just received a text changing the day to the 14th! Just awful. I’m debating whether to just cancel my direct debit and go elsewhere as they’re just rubbish. Oh and forgot to say that apparently they don’t give time slots for their appointments (if you can pin them down that is) and they don’t text or phone so basically you just have to wait in all day! What company in 2021 makes zero effort to call a customer and give them an idea of time? Just rubbish. I’ll decide this week whether I’ll bother to wait until the 14th December as it could be another no show. My advice - avoid

We have been a customer of Greenthumb for over 5 years, the recent service has been utterly appalling in the Derbyshire area. We have had to chase them every time a treatment was due and always tell us they are running late, by which point the lawn has gone past the point of no return .. most recently with moss. The grass has not been at his best for 2 years now, but we persevered in the hope things would improve (and it was not down to COVID) I'm not sure who is responsible for this region now but I wholeheartedly suggest you don't bother using them going forwards. I can't believe we ended up cancelling today, because they wouldn't budge on their schedule. Very Very Disappointing.

Do not touch Green Thumb, their operatives are fine but their administration is, to say the least,abysmal. Weeks to answer any communication, then when you get a reply it is as if they haven't even read your e mail as they make no reference to what you have queried. We have problems with the service and admin with this company. Just don't touch them if you want to retain your sanity.

After dreadful service support and treatments missing or late I asked in AUGUST via my Chesterfield site that my next Autumn treatment was done early October. Had no update since and emailed last week with no reply to date. Logged complaint head office AGAIN and let’s see if they get back to me or not??

I've been calling Green Thumb for literally months now, have left voicemail on their answering service local to me and have filled in the online form - nothing. What a waste of time.

I signed a contract for 5 treatments per annum for my lawn. I set up a direct debit mandate. After several weeks, the local Greenthumb rep said he was coming to do the first treatment on 23 September. At 3:30pm on that date, he texted to say he couldn't make it. No reason given. I texted back and asked when he could re-arrange for. No reply. I left it a week and texted again. Once again, no reply. And this was at the start of the contract! Direct debit had correctly been set up at the bank and was showing on my account. I therefore cancelled the direct debit and emailed Greenthumb to terminate the contract. Clearly a bunch of unreliable timewasters.

My wife has been a loyal customer for a long time. She passed away in March. They continued to provide a service unbeknownst to me and of course I now owe them money. That's not a problem in itself but when you get a standard letter saying 'we are sorry you are cancelling your account' then you wonder what type of organisation they are. Empathy bypass. Swerve this company

Green thumb in the last 12 months have been useless. They do not respond to texts or emails. They want to come at the wrong time E.g a summer feed in the middle of September.

I decided I’d like to have a lawn service. looked on Greenthumb web site, filled in all the details and received a message that someone would be in touch. a few weeks later and nothing had happened, so I called them. They took all my details, said someone would call me. nothing…. I can only assume they don’t want my business… hopeless
