Efficient process from the initial telephone call to the collection of my vehicle

We used them with trepidation, having had a bad experience with another well known car buying company but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The hardest part was dealing with lots of phone calls from them once we’d made the initial contact. They were pretty relentless but having said that, we sent lots of photos of the vehicle, negotiated a firm price (subject to inspection on collection) and waited for the day arranged to collect. Peter was very polite and professional. We left him alone to do his inspection and he agreed that it was exactly as described. He fed this back to the company and the previously agreed amount was transferred into our bank account within about 10 mins. Yes, we probably could have achieved a bit more money with a private sale but this way was more convenient for us and we were happy with the price we negotiated. Thank you

I kinda stumbled upon this company after a less than satisfying interaction with a much more well known car buying company and with my expectations pretty low I cannot speak highly enough about The Car Buying Group from the 2 or 3 people I dealt with over the phone to Gary the brilliant guy who trailered my car away... All done and dusted with money in the bank and a fair trade kinda price.. Recommended and id use again..

Very pleased with the service received from Richard and everyone else at the Car Buying Group, filled in the car details online and sent photos of the car and service history and within a short time received a confirmed price which was better than what other car buying companies had quoted and better than what the dealer offered us for a trade in. The car was collected on the agreed day and paid instantly the amount agreed on the phone. A very quick and easy process!

From start to finish. Very easy and straight forward process. Polite knowledgeable agents in call centre and on collection. Funds direct into bank with no hassle and the price that was agreed with no haggling Would defo recommend to others.

False advertising. They said offer the best price, the price, I tried 5 places they were so far off the price its a joke. So there not even in the top 5 best prices

Given that it was a non-runner, I felt I got a good price for my car and they even gave me an extra £100 when they couldn’t pick it up at the stated time. The communication was very good although I wish they had stuck to either emailing or messaging as sometimes it wasn’t clear if they had got my replies when they sent multiple communications. The only thing I didn’t like was they asked for the whole log book when I thought I should keep the slip for the DVLA to tell them I had sold it. In the end I found a way to do this online.

Paid the price offered on the phone and collected from the house... Just took slightly longer then expected when they were collecting... Overall very good for a quick sale if you're not looking for private sale prices
