I had a really good experience with The Car Buying Group. I was offered £1,000 more than what We Buy Any Car were offering me. It was a very easy process on the phone to get my quote and then the car was collected for free from my home only a few days later. The guys who collected the car were really lovely too. Make sure that you disclose any faults with the car when you get your quote and you will be honoured with the same quote at the end. The money was transferred straight to my bank upon collection. Couldn’t fault them at all.

Cannot fault the proactively and initial contact and efficiency of this group. Price agreed and collection organising very useful. On the day however the reneging on the deal was disappointing and without fair reason. There is an access flap in the footwell which at the time they said was not usual and certainly not something Land Rover would do. On this basis they accused me of having undocumented work done and couldn’t buy it for the reason. Since then I have proof and documentation from LR that this is standard in all their vehicles if this make. Something which I then followed up with. I haven’t a problem with the deal falling through if there was justification however proven otherwise this has meant the stress and waste of a day hanging about has left me very upset. Very unprofessional and in the end just another faceless company who will look for anything to renege on a deal if they can’t make money. Be warned

After we buy any car tried to rip us off , They originally offered 1600 for my wifes 2015 Renault Clio diesel (zero road tax) took to appointment and they only offered 700 . Tried the car buying group the same day and they gave us 1350 . Great communication from start to finish Adam went the extra mile. (Don't often get that these days) Would highly recommend the car buying group.

Very simply, an excellent experience from start to finish from a very competent, knowledgeable and helpful team of people.

From the first phonecall with Adam to the evaluator Gary the experience was simple and professional. These guys really don't mess you around, from the first quote that was given which was the amount that was paid within 5 minutes of Gary assessing the car. You may get a higher online quote from other sites but if yr straight about your car they stick to their price and no haggling. You know where u stand

Is not worth it ok if I lose 1000£-2000£ this is it but not 5000£ is very very low we want to get rich over night so your choice if you want to lose pick them

Staff helpful and courteous. Do not expect the initial quote to be what you receive. Be honest on your description and send photos during telephone discussion. A fair price agreed prior to arranging pick up. Monies transferred within minutes after face-to-face condition confirmed by auction representative. If you want to receive the money initially quoted, you need to sell privately (if you have the time). I needed to sell quickly, and TCBG provided a service for a swift transaction. Thanks
