The car valuadator Kevin was very professional, he explained what he was going to do and the process. He took 40mins to check the car over, then I got a call from the car buying group for my bank details. Overall a smooth transaction.
I used the service to get the price of a car i was buying. I got a follow up email saying they tried to call me. I replied explaing and asked them to close the enquiry. At the end of the day I got the same email from a different person claiming they tried to call me. I again replied asking them to stop emailing. Next day I got the same email again, from a another different person, claiming they tried to call me so decided to post this negative review. Clearly they don't communicate internally Updated 29 jan Despite assurance this will stop the company continues to harass me with emails. Updated 30 jan And it continues Update 31 Jan Had a call from Mel who got this fixed and emails have stopped. Its a shame it took a negative review to make that happen

Is this a scam with the Sun newspaper just to get your email and phone number for advertising purposes, I filled out details etc, all I got back was a valuation of £ symbol, what is that supposed to be - they don't want it, or what? Nothing else not even a quid, just a £ symbol, what's that suppose to mean to me. But now they have my email and phone number to use... UPDATE - received a phone call from a CBG team member, very polite and friendly, good chat about my enquiry which may or may not be of interest to myself, that aside they have replied so thats good.
I tried two others before finding the car buying group. Car buying fir up were quick and easy, the price quoted was what i got - in cash direct bank transfer - and no games were played. Car collected from my driveway.
Price offered was good but when chap came after looking over the car and leaving it running for 45 mins I had a call telling me not good news engine trouble offered me £1000 less than agreed. I had no engine lights on and my car was v low mileage, they suggested head gasket trouble which I do not believe on a small 1.2 engine 40k mileage 2018 plate. I declined their offer and felt v let down . Had sent them a video of car and they also said there were more marks than they realised. Would definitely not recommend .
Rubbish, offer a price of £11000 then reduce it to £10000 with no explanation or justification.

I dealt with Jamie Taylor at TCBG and I am always wary about using companies I don’t know but I couldn’t have asked for a better service and everything went smoothly and worked out exactly as Jamie had explained, Jamie kept Me in the loop about everything. Would absolutley go back to Jamie again for selling any further cars
