Straightforward from start to finish so easy to switch from previous company Recommend to anyone thinking of joining squirrel
After being messed around by 2 other companies and 6 cancellations later I signed up with Squirrel. Their communication was brilliant and they explained to us why we were having difficulty with the install (wayleave problem) & quickly resolved it. The team is fantastic and we're very happy all round. Thanks to Lawrence, Harrison and Dan (hope I got the names right!)
I was experiencing some connection issues, so called the help line and spoke to Harrison. He quickly identified the problem and advised me what to do, which sorted things out in minutes. Everything has been operating smoothly since then. I am very happy with the support.
It went live on the Wednesday and was off line on the Sunday. My neighbour did say it was the first time she had known it to happen

after ring for my freind who has demtntia i found daniel very rude and told him to forget it coz he showed NO interest at all
Fantastic service from Squirrel. I changed over from TalkTalk and everything from the Squirrel side of things has gone smoothly. Human customer service too (TT on the other hand...). Excellent price for 500MB speed and NO price increase during the 24 month contract. Just Great

The website to set up the provider was easy and clear to understand. The engineers were arranged and came out when they said they would. They were professional and set everything up. Internet is brilliant, good and consistent speeds. My only reason for not going 5* is that the engineers have put a larger hole in the outside wall than needed to install the cable into the house and their repair looks a mess on the outside of the house which I am unsure how I can now repair. To be fair to them I haven't contacted Squirrel about this matter so cannot say whether it's something they would seek to resolve which clearly isn't their fault. All in all good company, good service and would recommend.
after a few months i decided to upgrade my serv ice, which came with a price hike, that i was happy to pay,£29 it was slow, had a guy come from be fibre, did a speed test, only getting 150mbps, called them. and couldnt find my call, i changed phone number. absolutely disgusted with their service, returned their router and they said they have notn recieved it now trying to charge me £130, gone with be fibre 700mbps, first 3 months a fiver a month, then £24.99 after, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH SQUIRREL
Never got the provided speeds using the equipment they supplied. Customer service, in particular Daniel was very rude and sounded like he didn't believe a word I said. Never had any issues with TalkTalk who I will be returning to as they provide the service they sell.
Engineer arrived to fit the external and interior boxes. Didn't check the first pilot hole and drilled into the metal gate stantion so had to drill another hole in the adjacent wall for the cable. Joined everything up and said all I had to do was plug in the router. 2 days later the router turned up, plugged in but no Internet. Out of hours Team asked for availability so Engineer could come out. Told them after 1500hrs the next 4 days. Later that evening received a non returnable text to say the Engineer would be here tomorrow before 1200hrs. Had to email as the Out of hours Team don't answer the phone. Went to work at 0630hrs the next day and at 0800 received a call from the Engineer saying he was outside. Obviously no access so said he'd be back the next day after 1500hrs. Took a half day holiday the next day to make sure I was home. He didn't show up. Rang and emailed Squirrel and they apologised and rearranged for the next morning. Reminded them of the email trail/phone calls regarding access after 1500hrs so they had to move the Engineer appointment. Engineer turned up and said the initial install was poor and had to redo the connection. 5 days later we finally got some Internet.
First class service from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Squirrel.
Harrison was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful answering all of my queries. As a customer who’s not even installed yet, I’m feeling very confident that everything is being handled correctly. Looking forward to having your service and thanks again Harrison ☺️
