Poor communication and Install
Engineer arrived to fit the external and interior boxes. Didn't check the first pilot hole and drilled into the metal gate stantion so had to drill another hole in the adjacent wall for the cable. Joined everything up and said all I had to do was plug in the router. 2 days later the router turned up, plugged in but no Internet. Out of hours Team asked for availability so Engineer could come out. Told them after 1500hrs the next 4 days. Later that evening received a non returnable text to say the Engineer would be here tomorrow before 1200hrs. Had to email as the Out of hours Team don't answer the phone. Went to work at 0630hrs the next day and at 0800 received a call from the Engineer saying he was outside. Obviously no access so said he'd be back the next day after 1500hrs. Took a half day holiday the next day to make sure I was home. He didn't show up. Rang and emailed Squirrel and they apologised and rearranged for the next morning. Reminded them of the email trail/phone calls regarding access after 1500hrs so they had to move the Engineer appointment. Engineer turned up and said the initial install was poor and had to redo the connection. 5 days later we finally got some Internet.
