The main thing is being able to phone and speak to somebody straight away, no waiting for ages like other broadband providers. On the other hand I was expecting to be up n running on day of installation but had to wait a couple of days for router to arrive by post, not a major problem cos I was still connected to old provider
Squirrel were unable to get my internet on line on installation day and here we are five days later and still no internet not very impressed so far
Good customer service
I can't fault the engineers who set everything up, barring the router. My issue lie with the router, or rather the plug, not being user friendly. I have de quervains syndrome in both hands (similar to carpal tunnel, just it affects the wrist and thumbs). It came as a 2 pin plug, with an exchangeable 3 pin to slide in. The issue was trying to remove the 2 pin slider as there wasn't anything in the manual. Secondly it's a yellow cable and not blue that you sent, but the diagram shows a blue one. I'm tech savy, but it tested my patience. Maybe in future send the router with the engineer to set it up on the spot just like kcom do.
Fast speed consistent lots of devices attached too.

Been with Squirrel for some time now and always had a wonderful experience when using the online chat. Spoke to Lawrence today, who knew the answers to all my questions, was professional and friendly and a great example of the sort of customer service I've come to expect from this team. The service from squirrel was excellent. The MS3 engineer who fitted the outside wire and panel was efficient and friendly. I had an issue with receiving the router probably due to the time of year and Lawrence Hayes whom I spoke online with - more than once - was fantastic and ensured that the issue was rectified quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this company to family and friends.
Not heard of Squirrel but a neighbour had them as a broadband provider and very highly recommended, so along with the recommend a friend scheme we chose them, well, amazing service, picked an install date, great efficient engineers, router came within 2 days, all Set up and getting amazing high speed 10/10

Installation was on time and without mess. The actual router was delivered the next day and was self-installed following clear instructions. There was a delay in getting the landline telephone up and running but this was due to an error on the part of my previous provider and was investigated and resolved quickly by Squirrel - and a credit was given.
Great value and great service
Service was up and running as soon as the modem was plugged in. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Super fast, download and upload speed is way better than Virgin and one week on, so far, so good.
Quick and convenient 'chat' facility for a small issue/question. Lawrence was helpful and courteous, resolving the issue in seconds. A minor issue which could have spiralled; negating unnecessary calls, time and frustration. Great stuff.
