I have been using the Sonic dental device for a few months now and I am really impressed! It keeps my retainers clean and prevents the discolouration. I have a new bottom retainer that I just had replaced and after weeks it still looks brand new! I would recommend getting this sooner than later to keep your retainers as brand new as possible
Very well made and really works. You have to see with your own eyes the residue and bacteria that sits in the water after the cleaning. I will never use anything else now

I received a defective pod to begin with. But Sonic Dental replaced it and the new pod works very well.
This sonic cleaner didn’t clean my retainers. It has made them cloudy and not clear. I purchased the top set with the tablets. I contacted Sonic and explained and asked for refund. They said no as I had undone cellophane! Apparently you can’t get a refund unless you haven’t opened it. How on earth are you supposed to use it and discover it isn’t working! As my hygienist said the guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on then. How do they know it could be faulty. I was told they can’t let people in the warehouse touch items that have been used. Totally unimpressed! Would not recommend.
The Sonic Spa pro is pretty good. It cleans my retainer quickly and it packs away easily. The process of getting it from them was easy too. I ordered it and it came two days later

I bought the sonic dental cleaning pod for my retainer. I have been using it for the past few weeks and it is so much easier and efficient than brushing it each day. It seems to do a great job cleaning it. I’m very happy with the results.
I have a night retainer which is 10+ years old, only ever cleaned with tablets. The sonic spa pro in conjunction with dental tablets have given my retainer a new lease on life, cleaning a significant amount of plaque from the guard as well as making it feel fresh when I place it in my mouth. I love in the time it takes to brush my teeth I can get my retainers perfectly clean effortlessly. This removes everything making them sparkling clean and refreshed. I can't imagine going back to not using this.
