This company went ahead and adjusted my policy without my consent. I went from 1800 a year for car insurance to 4900. I only caught this looking through my emails. They added my son to my policy when i asked what it would look like if he was on it. Now im having to pay them for breaking my contract. This would be the 3rd month in a row of issues Ive had with them.

I had a great experience working with Hunter on my car insurance. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to clearly explain all of my options, making sure I understood everything without ever being pushy. I really appreciated her transparency, patience, and professionalism. Highly recommend working with her!

I got an amazing quote from the Broker for car and home and wanted to proceed with it, however, the broker disappeared. Not sure if anything happened, hope all is well with him, but he became unreachable by email and phone. At the same time spam calls to my phone number increased, so I wonder if this company is legit or is just phishing info for other purposes.

I wouldn’t recommend using scoop insurance. They tell you information that isn’t true and don’t help to resolve any issues. Even when notes are written from a previous employee that says you spoke they just repeat themselves as oh we can’t help you with this concern. I would look elsewhere if you need insurance because they won’t protect you.

Well for starters, it’s been a long time since I had insurance. I didn’t remember the whole process and understanding some of the terminology was a bit confusing. I was helped by the lovely Reina S, who took her time expressing all avenues of terms and conditions for liabilities/Full Coverage. She also helped me find information on my previous insurance company that further pushed me to learning things I did not know had happened with my prior insurance company. She was very knowledgeable, patient, respectful and understanding about my whole situation. At the end of the conversation we were able to find a very suitable policy for me that helps me financially and my future down the road “No pun intended”. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who does need insurance or help trying to find the best policy

I wouldn't recommend scoop insurance to anybody. They lie about their policies, when you try to contact them to resolve an issue they completely ignore you, then add negative comments to your abstract. The agents are extremely rude, ignoring your request or concerns while trying to speak down at you. Anywhere else is better than this garbage.

Disingenuous brokers who are rude and only play nice until your money is in their pocket then they drop the act and treat you like a number.

Well lets see, my experience would be higher if it would let me rate it higher. Reina helped me with every question I had. She was always quick to reply or answer calls. My previous broker never helped me and made me feel like I was interrupting her day. Reina was always polite, patient, willing to explain stuff to me. I would recommend to her anyone looking for an insurance broker that is actually there to help you navigate through insurance world. I know cars, not insurance. Her knowledge and expertise helped me sort out my confusion. I will always talk to her about anything insurance related from now on. Honestly couldn't be happier with her help. Never had such a positive experience dealing with anything insurance related in my life.

If I could, I would give them a -5. All those who praise this company in their reviews likely have never encountered a difficult situation with them. The company is comprised of irresponsible and unprofessional employees whose primary objective is to collect your money. In the event of any dispute or confusion, they will absolve themselves of responsibility and redirect you to the insurance provider. And guess what the insurance provider will tell you? That you are insured through a broker, and therefore all inquiries must be directed to the broker. They also refuse to participate in a three-way conference call to resolve issues collaboratively. Reaching anyone in a position of authority is practically impossible — everyone you can reach claims to be the highest authority available. And don’t be misled by their responses here expressing regret and asking you to contact them to resolve the issue. Of course they write that — they’re not complete fools. But over the phone, when it's not a public forum, if you contact them with a problem, you’ll hear the same answer every time: “We can't help you. Please contact your insurance company.” Therefore, think carefully before entering into any agreements through this broker.

I got a quote from Matt Hartstone at scoop insurance and I gave him my credit card and all the information that is required to get the insurance, This was on May 7, 2025 and now he will not answer my phone calls or emails. If there is a problem with my insurance quote it would be professional to answer my questions.

Andrea B at Scoop Insurance Brokers was so great. She helped us get car insurance at a decent price after our former carrier cancelled our insurance for one non-payment occurrence. Andrea was friendly, understanding and very professional.

Every year when I try to go view the renewal documents, I get an error message and have to call to have them sent by email. No one ever replies to emails in time at this company. I encounter issues with them every single year. If the employees are not able to answer customers' emails, why aren't they redirected to another agent? I am so frustrated. It is the same dance every time I try to get in contact with someone. I also received my renewal for tenant insurance.... I had asked to remove my ex-partner off the policy LAST YEAR. Why is his name on the renewal? Also, when I first moved to my current house and set up the home insurance, they had put my OLD address and I was paying for insurance somewhere I was not living at FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR.... they did not offer any type of compensation what so ever. They honestly just suck. Their customer service is completely unacceptable.

I switched to Scoop after Allstate wanted to increase my monthly payment by about $160.00 a month without explanation. Thanks to Jacklyn Aviles, I saved Over $100 per Month.

The agent gave very good and got me a great price on home insurance

Saved money on my car insurance with the same coverage provided. House insurance was close to the same price as my previous insurance. The insurance guy (Ryan) was very helpful and answered all of my questions that I had.

Clemence (Raya) Rafada made my original experience great, fast and efficient on callbacks, even provided her direct line. However, now since i have paid in full, and need to discuss a change of date on my policy, I have not had a call back after leaving two messages. I can only assume she is on holiday or working shifts- but she was very knowledgable and suggestive with policy details.
