We sailed from Amsterdam to Budapest on the 1st sailing of the Scenic Crystal in March this year. It was overall an excellent experience. The food was amazing and the excursions were varied. All the crew were so friendly and helpful absolutely 6 star service. Cathy our cruise director is so helpful, her port talks fun and informative. We sailed at this time to celebrate a big birthday and it was made very special. Would definitely recommend and we have booked for another cruise in 2026

Organisation and food was unbelievable! Overall rating was at least 4 star. I personally would have like a less packed "menu" of events and more time just enjoying the Danube.

The menus were not to my taste and our cabin was a bit too noisy. Apart from that the crew were great and the trips were really good. We will definitely be going on another river cruise.

The staff and crew were wonderful. There was just one who was not as friendly and willing, but they all worked extremely hard. A credit to the company. The itinerary was however not as good as our last cruise with Scenic and we spent three days of the week in Bordeaux which was not what wanted or were expecting to happen. We understand that weather and tidal conditions have an impact, but we would have preferred to be on the river and sailing more rather than being transported by bus, even if that meant we went somewhere different than advertised.

This was a highly successful trip with the service onboard being exemplary. Our suite was delightful and the size of a good kitchen/diner. We tried to keep a wedding anniversary quiet but our butler spotted cards and produced a bottle of rose champagne plus a cake for four at dinner. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

Wonderful river cruise (our second time on the Rhone) in April. We are cruising again with Scenic next month, this time from Amsterdam to Budapest, for the second time. Wonderful not to have to keep signing for purchases & worrying how much to tip & to whom.

We didn't go ahead with our trip in the end as the customer service was so appalling - and this for a very expensive trip to Antarctica. The prices quoted for flights when these became available were also outrageous (£8kpp for business class inc taxes) and far more than those available to book direct. Be particularly wary of their early bird booking offers as they are not what they seem - they quote a £1250 figure towards flights but it only applies to flights if you book through them (at vastly inflated prices) and they don't tell you the figure carries no monetary value ie it is non transferable if you want to book flights yourself. We have since rebooked with another provider who have provided the level of customer service you would rightly expect at this price point and have been fully transparent in their pricing. Give Scenic a miss!

We booked to travel with Scenic from Lyon in April this year on the South of France river cruise. Scenic failed to provide us and several other passengers with embarkation details and fundamentally the location of the ship. They also failed to provide adequate customer service back up both during and after the horrendous and very stressful experience. Be aware that they are a company that do not respond and appropriately react when they get in wrong. The cruise itself was very good apart from the rooms which need updating and rethinking. There was also a lot of sickness and illness onboard during the cruise which Scenic failed to provide adequate support and assurances.

The voyage was dull.The places we visited were some of the least interesting in the South of France. The ship was fine but couldn't use it's helicopter or submarine on this voyage. Overall underwhelmed.

Our first cruise on Scenic Eclipse. Having previously cruised on the larger cruise ships and major brands, having now experienced the large yacht style of cruising, am now converted to this lifestyle for future cruise holidays! We made our own arrangements to stay locally for a few days before and after the cruise so cannot comment on the transfers. However from being met at the gangway by Captain Ned until departure found we were sailing on a lovely ship with a great crew and friendly passengers.

As usual, a very enjoyable cruise, with everything taken care of. The only downside was the early disembarkation time with a late in the day flight.

We waited a long time & were not disappointed in any respect.

Everything The Scenic Eclipse ship was amazing and the captain and his crew very professional and friendly. The suites were very luxurious, comfortable and roomy. The staff from butler down were delightful. The restaurants and bars again were excellent and the menu changes every three sittings again very professional. The Expedition Team again very professional, experienced and knowledgeable. To top it all the helicopter flight over Antarctica unbelievable.

The Scenic Christmas and New Year cruise was excellent in the main. Booking was easy, as was selecting excursions ( all included in the price). On board staff were excellent ( especially Alex, the cruise manager and Ben, who dealt with entertainment. ) They made it a brilliant experience. The excursions were very good. Sometimes they felt a bit rushed. A later lunch would be better than having to be back on board too soon. On one occasion, we were taken on a very long walking tour of Salzburg and told we couldn't leave until we'd been shown the meeting point. It took one and a half hours to get to it and it was time to meet for lunch then, anyway! Food was generally excellent and my allergies were taken seriously on this cruise ( which wasn't the case on the Bordeaux trip we did). The only food let- down was no turkey on Christmas Day ( but there was turkey at lunch on other boats doing the same trip. ) Most entertainment was very good, other than the singer on Christmas Day. Ten minutes of the Christmas music we'd been told he'd sing, then he said that was enough Christmas and he'd sing what he wanted to. He was rude to guests and overly tactile. Unfortunately, computer issues meant we didn't get the survey to complete on this trip, so I wasn't able to express my Christmas Day disappointment, both with food and entertainment. Overall, though, Scenic are excellent. We have, on previous cruises, had high water issues and the delays have been dealt with brilliantly and compensation has been more than adequate. We will be enjoying our 6th Scenic river cruise this summer. I noted one reviewer suggested that reviews from people who have been invited to submit a review are not genuine. No, those, including this one are the genuine ones, as Scenic invites guests to submit reviews.

We had a fantastic cruise. Lovely ship, fantastic crew, lovely food. The excursions were very informative. It would have been 5 stars but the pre-departure and post arrangements were really poor. Information was sent to the wrong email and the call centre staff seemed to want to blame the Tour operator. Fortunately on the 3rd time of asking I finally got a really helpful lady who sorted everything. I am still waiting a reply to an email sent on our return. So great Cruise let down by the UK office.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. There was absolutely nothing to fault from the hotels at the start (Raffles) in Siem Reap to the cruise down the Mekong on Scenic Spirit, to the finish in Ho Chi Mihn City. The staff, food, all included experiences were sublime. It was so good we booked it again for 2026! We cant wait!! Just book it you wont regret it.
