I travel to Chicago via O'Hare International Airport often. I have used Routes may times now. They are extremely fair in their daily pricing (if paid in advance). Their lot is just a short, 10 minute shuttle van ride from the airport (and conveniently located next to various hotels). Plan ahead to have enough for a hold/deposit on your card (call ahead to check before booking!). Check the vehicle thoroughly before/after with your own pictures/video, too, as you should with any rental company. The check-out and drop-off process goes fast, especially if you book through them directly. Overall a great value!

Complaint Message: My experience with your company was extremely frustrating. The lack of transparency regarding the actual insurance cost and the unexpected $500 deposit requirement reflects a dishonest practice towards customers. Furthermore, the car provided was in worse condition than expected, which only added to the dissatisfaction. In the end, the total amount paid was far above what was initially anticipated, making this rental more expensive than other companies that offer far superior service. This is a warning and a clear statement that I will not use your services again. I strongly recommend you revise your transparency policies immediately.

First time using Routes car rental and it was an awesome experience. Fast tram to the off airport location. Axum helped me with my rental and was so patient but yet efficient! I was making sure I let me card company know I was traveling and while doing that she managed to get the reservation completed while I was on the phone.
