Axum was amazing at getting us all set up and out the door quickly. She answered all our questions and explained the rental contract throughly. We were very happy with the service at the front desk and the price for rental. Only giving four stars because we haven’t returned the car yet.
23rd May final update - do not work with this company unless you like fraud. They overcharged, all the evidence was supplied to show this, but they insist on keeping the money. It's only 30 USD, but why bother with the stress of people who treat you like trash and just lie to you. A very negative experience with the hire and the complaints process. The price is clear in the contract but the hirer, Routes (Puerto Rico), did not respect the contract and overcharged. Check in incredibly slow, around 1 hour. After all that they don't show you the car despite having around 10 workers hanging around. The car was not ready for service, it was not fueled, it was not clean and the tyre pressures were all over the place. Update: I have sent you the email with further information as requested so you have the opportunity to reply. Your reply states a number of redundant arguments, such as please see our terms as to what the contract is. You are working with 3rd parties who you allow to make bookings, so you have to honor whatever that contract is, this is the issue in this case, your refusal to honor a contract presented at the desk with the reply that we charge whatever we like and the contract you have is useless. This is not acceptable, if you are unhappy with what the 3rd parties are selling in your name then this is your problem and not the customers to resolve. I was not the only customer that day with this issue. 7th May - Routes closed the case without investigating stating that the 3rd party booking company would resolve the issue. The 3rd party booking company have not responded! So the buck has well and truly been passed, showing their reply to be nothing more than a pretence that they take anything seriously.

My experience with Route Car Rental was awful. They forced me to take their insurance even though I had proof of valid coverage. I had no choice — they simply refused to give me the car unless I paid for it. When I questioned it, the employee was arrogant, rude, and even laid across his desk while speaking to me — completely unprofessional and disrespectful. They rely on unfair tactics and couldn’t care less about customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.
The checkout was easy and the front desk people were very supportive. Especially, sahil was very helpful and made the checkout process smoother.

Rented a car at the Atlanta location, on the way back to return the car, I had a flat or should I say a blowout, The tire busted from the front and was Sherred in the back of the tire, Upon dropping the car off, I was told that I was responsible for the tire, Thank God I had tire protection(which I did not ask for, it was put on my rental) The tire was Dry Rot, but the manager said I hit something sharp, I guess whatever I hit cut the back of the tire as well

We rented a car for 11 days. When landing in Toronto you have to take the shuttle bus to Viscount and then call them and they will come and pick you up. We waited about 30mins for them to pick us up and to be honest that was the only complaint we had. Collection was faultless, they emailed us the receipt and the massive collection of photos. And the lady on the desk told us which roads to avoid (toll roads) Trying to find the rental desk to drop off again was a little tricky with the satnav initially taking us to the car park where we had to pay $7 dollars for the privilege of driving through it! The drop off when we arrived was faultless and they completed their report in under 10mins and confirmed we would receive our whole deposit back within 5 working days. We then got on the minibus back to Viscount Station for the shuttle to the airport. All in all 5 stars!

Kalki at the desk was fantastic, very friendly, and helpful. Seems like her coworkers were late and she was all alone at the desk, which resulted in a long line. First thing in the morning they may have more inventory than they can fit in the lot, making it a bit tricky to get in and out. Shuttle pickup is at the corner. Look for the sign without a brand name at the very end (west side) or beginning (east side).
