Very quick at answering the phone and dealing with any query. When Niki said she would phone she did. Met all of our requirements and reasonable priced too
This is our 20th holiday with Riviera, they do everything well and at a reasonable price . Daniel , our agent , went above and beyond to make us feel valued and save us money .
The whole team at Riviera are amazing. We had a complicated situation with trying to book a Croatian cruise that involved my friend from Canada. They undertook to regularly check for the release of a particular cabin, persevered with communicating, and we've ended up with the holiday and cabin we so wanted. Thank you to you all.

Short 3 day river cruise. Picked up as promised at airport in Germany and delivered to ship. Really clean, impressive ship, excellent cabin. Food was really good, especially excellent breakfasts. Organised trips were interesting. Then on the morning of our departure Heathrow airport closed. Riviera allowed us to stay on the boat about 6 hours extra which allowed for some unexpected sightseeing. The boat had to leave at a certain time for the next cruise so we were all taken by coach to a museum to kill time (Riviera paid for entry). Then they got all 23 of us on a flight back to the UK (Bristol was the only option). Due to the late arrival we were put up in a hotel and given £20 each to pay for dinner. Then a coach was provided to take us back to London the next day. All at no cost to us. Obviously it's better if there are no problems, but when one arose Riviera were really good at sorting it out. The only tiny complaint is that the rep we were promised in Bristol never showed up, but we were able to get to the hotel and coach easily ourselves. If we river cruise again, which is very likely, we would certainly use Riviera. Excellent.
Speaking to a named individual who understood our requirements and clearly defined the options available made the decision very clear for us. The ongoing information is also full and comprehensive. Having a continued line of communication is a most reassuring aspect of Riviera should any questions arise. An excellent example of how to conduct business.

Just returned from India on a Solo trip, the whole process of booking and the holiday itself was faultless. Andrew P was our guide/courier and he is obviously doing a job which he takes great pride in and is an asset to riviera travel. This was an adventure rather than a holiday, but it was what I wanted and we were taken to some magnificent places , little time for R+R , the hotels were all first class everywhere, including Delhi,Agra,Jaipur, Rathambore and Shimla.Some great memories I wouldn’t hesitate to book with the company again and am in the process of thinking about where my next holiday or adventure will be. Just booked a river cruise for August 2025, the booking experience was easy and the booking agent was very helpful as I questioned him on cabin availability and positions for several cruises.
I have been a Riviera client for around 12 years and for the first time, i had to wait almost an hour to get through to discuss a holiday.After this long wait & having dialled the number in the brochure,I was told I was speaking to Customer services! The lady tried but failed to connect me so said someone would ring back -it was 5pm but i was told the office was open until 6pm.Got call next morning when Niki was v helpful but it was a v disappointing start.

I hadn’t used Riviera before and won’t again. Their pre-departure attn was lacking. Phone calls a waste of time and lack of email response within their 48 hour remit if at all. They paid no attention to detail, great or small, the itinerary for our Indochina trip was totally underwhelming. We were unable to upgrade our flight seats for long haul to Hanoi. There was no inclusion of even one social for our group of 30. The schedule was gruelling with too many consecutive early mornings and long transfer times which were not rewarded with commensurate excursions. It all seemed to be a well worn tourist trail conveyor belt package with groups in front and behind. Nothing felt exceptional. The only redeeming feature to make this package successful was the tour manager Debbie who was totally professional and caring.
