Generally good products, great prices

RestaurantSupply.com is my go-to supplier for my home kitchen. Most of their products are large-quantity or designed for bulk food preparation, however, they have some real values for the home kitchen. Customer service isn't the best--I bought a Winco blender that was absolute trash, in spite of being sold as a commercial-quality blender, and I wasn't able to return the POS. Other than that, I've had great luck with products and prompt shipping, and non-electric Winco products, which they prominently feature on the website. Winco cutlrey and kitchen tools have been well made--and worth twice the price I've paid on any single item. For the most part, knives, spatulas, and other tools are less than Walmart generics, with quality that would easily rival Williams-Sonoma or other premium outlets. (Mind you--my "sample size" is small, with only two orders, but I've been impressed). Just avoid WinCo appliances.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I was with this company and your employee Michael Sullo I ordered pizza cutters for wedding favors for my daughter and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and how quickly and professionally all of our correspondences were. So Good I hate to tell you about it

After over ten years of hospitality purchases with several different suppliers, I have found and now focus on Restaurant Supply due to their competitive pricing and excellent customer service. In the vast internet world we are now subjected to, it's great to hear a real human voice when we need some extra help. You don't even need to go through ten minutes of automated attendants to get there.

Efficient, Quick, and Supportive Transactions

I source all of my PPE from my account rep James Bourbeau. I love that items ship same day and have chosen this site over others due to fantastic customer service. In the end, I care most about having an efficient, quick, supportive transaction. As a long time customer, I highly recommend Restaurant Supply.com

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!

I spent $150 of birthday money on kitchen gear from this website - more realistically, on kitchen GARBAGE because that's where most of these items ended up the second time I used them. I've worked in restaurants for over a decade and love how robust the tools in professional kitchens are. THESE ARE NOT RESTAURANT LEVEL TOOLS!! This website is a scam that sends damaged or subpar items. I ordered 18 items, 2 of which they were out of stock of but they didn't tell me, they were going to wait to ship it until they had more in stock, but when I asked how long that would be was told could be as long as a year??? Horrible customer service, just send what I have. I had to cancel the other items for them to send what they did have in stock. Nearly a month after ordering I got a package but it was missing 3 items. I was told these had already been delivered? But remember in the part just before, I was told they don't send multiple deliveries?? After much, much fuss I finally was refunded the money - but only part of it! When I alerted customer service they denied they owed me money and said that I had the total wrong but I used the prices on my receipt? By that time I had had the items for a week and noticed many were dented, scuffed, or so dirty that despite washing them multiple times (by hand and in the dishwasher) I didn't feel comfortable using them around food. I DIDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE USING THE ITEMS FROM A RESTAURANT SUPPLY STORE AROUND FOOD BECAUSE THEY FLAKED PAINT, ENAMLE, AND GREASE! What *%$#!%$#%*$#!!! The angel food cake was the worst offender. Despite washing it multiple times by hand, soaking it, using a professional degreaser, it seemed to be leaking grease? Or maybe the coating was melting? Right in the bin. When I alerted customer service that 3 of the pans I purchased were so deeply damaged the enamel was coming off in chunks, I was told I must have damaged the pans myself and there was no way it left their warehouse like that. Cool. It wasn't worth the headache in the end to keep chasing customer service, especially Michael Sullo. I just ate the $150 and am doing all I can to prevent anyone else from buying from them. In short, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!! THE REASON THEIR PRICES ARE SO LOW IS BECAUSE THEY ONLY SELL DAMANGED OR SUB-PAR ITEMS!!

This place is a SCAM stay away!

I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after my experience with Restaurant Supply. We recently received a severely damaged ice maker and reached out to them to get a replacement. The ice maker was $3,000, so you would expect a quality item. NOPE! After speaking with a customer representative, it was clear that they were not going to take any responsibility for the damaged product. Since the item was not inspected upon arrival and refused, they are not liable is their policy. They now want me to file a claim with FedEx even though it's very obvious that the item was packed damaged since the box is in pristine condition. This place is a HUGE SCAM, selling damaged products at a premium price, I'm not sure how this place is still operating.

bad customer service

Item arrived damaged, after contacting restaurantsupply and taking to Michael. I was told we needed to file a claim with fed-ex, that restaurantsupply was not responsible. I called fed ex and they told me restaurantsupply had to file claim since they shipped it and they were the company paying for it. It was a back-and-forth game. Finally, I was provided a form from Michael and I filed the claim. I need a fridge; I’ve had to reorder the item and pay out of pocket for the second one. No replacement was offered. The second shipment arrived 3/2/21 and was a hassle due to fed-ex driver arguing with us that he had no time to wait for us to unpack the item and inspect it. He told us that it would be $50 every 15 minutes, and left because he had no time to wait. After calling restaurantsupply and talking to Michael he called fed ex and driver returned, and we could see a dent in the back of the fridge but decided to keep it as it was not as bad as the first fridge. We still have the first broken fridge, and restaurantsupply is not accepting responsibility. Restaurant supply is blaming FedEx and FedEx denied claim. We just need a refund and broken item picked up.

Problem with a WINCO frying pan

I had a problem with a WINCO frying pan. I contacted Mike Sullo at RestaurantSupply and, through his hard work and diligence, I got a new pan in the mail from the manufacturer. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and solved my issue to my great satisfaction. Great customer service!!

This website is a total joke

This website is a total joke. They delay my order a month and another 1 week. Then they cancel my order becauce of price change without telling me. I know it until I ask. Do you believe it? Please please please stay away from this website. It would save you so much time.

I was hung up on twice

I called twice to receive an answer about a question I had and was hung up on twice. I then tried using the chat feature on their website and kindly asked again had the chat feature closed on me. Awful customer service and will never be working with them again.

Horrible customer service! Before placing an order for some molds…

Before placing an order for some molds I chatted to confirm how many are in an order, tge listing was confusing. The chat agent said 10, I ordered 2, for a total of 20. I received 2! I called, spoke to a manager named James. He took the information, called me back, said it was a mistake and will send next day. I tokd him i needed them for Christmas and he promised I would have them before. I called 3 days before and someone named Eliza said she will call back, never did, but sent the proof of Zazadelivery for tge 2 items. So now, 2 days before Christmas still no molds, I called again, spoke to Eliza who sent me to another manager who was so rude. He said James is on vacation and tge order was wrong. He said I can return them, minus shipping cost. After arguing with him he said they will return the shipping. They are not reliable, they have no idea about the products they are selling, the information they provide (both over chat and phone) are not accurate. Will never use again and do not recommend!

Don't Plan on Returning Anything

I should have looked at reviews or at least the return policy. Don't plan on returning anything from this place. First, you need to get Authorized written permission before returning anything. Second, at least in my case, it will cost more returning the product than it was to purchase it the first time. Price of Product: $15 Price to Return: $20 They have return shipping fees, a 30% min. restocking fee, also any tax paid will not be return.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Refrigerator arrived damage and because I didn't waste the delivery guys time but opening and inspecting every inch of the product before he left I am now left with a damaged product. The front of the fridge door was clearly speared by a forklift in transit. The fridge is unusable in this condition because of the gaping, jagged hole that could easily cut someone if they walked too closely. Customer service says because I signed for it it is not their problem. Fedex also declined the claim because I signed for the product. Would not recommend nor use this company in the future.

The refrigerator I ordered is not in…

The refrigerator I ordered is not in use. The pile at the door sheds leaving tiny black hair all over the fridge and food. I will never use them again. They don’t reply to your complains or concerns.
