Issues were on first pickup of the vehicle, vehicle was not ready and told me to wait 10 minutes, I replied tired and a bit sarcastic that they mean an hour? They said no, 10 minutes... 45 minutes later they told me the car is being brought down, at the 55 minute mark the car was there. Car had suspension issues at highway speed that we observed the next day and I had to drive all the way back to the airport to exchange it the day after that. I just thought someone would have brought the replacement to me in Melbourne, since they had a car to drive back. Anyhow, once we got the second car, everything went smooth after that. Just a really rough start and compliance-based customer service rather than trying to serve. For a National Executive Elite member, I thought there might be a little more effort to make things right with less effort from the customer.

Redspot has never failed to deliver in the 5 years I've used their services usually in between buying a new car or travelling interstate. Newest cars and at cheapest fees plus good customer service. My first go to servicers.

Just returned home to Melbourne after a 4 day trip to Brisbane. I rented a car from redspot because the prices are cheaper , no fuss reservation, excellent staff, all so friendly. Will definitely be using them on my next trip back.

Hi, firstly I don’t like leaving bad reviews but sadly in this instance I feel like I was wrongly charged $494 after having a confirmed quote $399.83...? I was rudely surprised that the reason I chose “Redspot” was due to the “no tolls expense” only to find out that I was being charged, massive disappointment considering Sydney & it’s ever frequent expensive tolls !! The only positive, to come out of this experience was the free upgrade - period !!

I always get the top dog package which covered the tolls incurred, now the top dog package does not include the tolls and you are charged an administration fee for each toll, disappointing .

Easy to deal with, Great Service

Have rented two weekends in a row, even at 730 in the morning the staff have been pleasant and helpful ensuring i understood the policy. The booster seat was there quickly and very efficient and pleasant staff with drop off.

Flying to Sydney our flight was delayed. Didn't arrive till midnight. Was worried no car and no way to get home. But you stayed and waited for us even though you close 11pm. You were quick and efficient with your service. And we were out within 20min. So grateful and relieved. Made our trip to Sydney so much more enjoyable. Would I recommend you to my friends and family? Yes without hesitation. I have been a loyal customer for over 10yrs. Thank you.

Very good company and friendly staff and very good price on the cars

Booked my Redspot Car Rental through Holiday Autos online and paid for everything upfront. Printed off all receipts and proper documents. Arrived at Redspot Rentals desk and all was good picked up the car no problems, then 3 days into my 7 day rental my credit card was charged the full amount of the rental car again. Took the car back on time no damage they were happy and everything was signed off on. No extra payments to be made. Questioned the credit card amount and was told it was a mistake and was going to be corrected. Arrived home and a week later a Redspot independent franchisee from Brisbane charged my credit card the full amount again. The car rental was for Darwin nothing to do with Brisbane. Lots of phone calls later and still waiting for my money back. Payed for this service 3 times and got nothing but the runaround from the company. Not happy at all. Still waiting for my money back and an explanation 12 months later.
