New system didn't take my booking initially, I had a number, but the had nothing on their system. Staff at the airport, made it effortless to get it sorted out

Generally happy with Red Spot and use them regularly as they are fair value. The car was not ready for pickup at the booked time but did arrive as promised within about 15 minutes. Will use them again - Thank you!

Easy to rent, fair price, need time to process the rental agreement; even though i did pre order. Should have at least a small chair for waiting in the office. Other than technical things that can be improved, everything else was perfect.
These guys are always good on price Service can be improved the girl at front kiosk horrible manners and whispering to other customers in front of customers. They didn't have car waiting I waited over an hour but they did compensate in other areas down at the pick up area they were all very helpful there. I will use them again

Poor service from start to finish - pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys. Red Spot's business model is seemingly geared around offering the cheapest price and then making every attempt to charge extra along the way. When we booked online the price quoted for extra baby seats was misleading because there were surcharges per day on top of each seat. When we asked about it we were told there is nothing could be done. We waited for quite some time on arrival to pick up the car, which wasn't ready - very frustrating with two babies that we had pre-booked seats for. Then when we get there the lady behind the desk is adamant that the vehicle we booked wouldn't fit the seats so suggested a bigger car, didn't mention it would cost more until we were almost finished! Then she was quite rude when we insisted on the car we booked, seeing as though the system didn't prevent us from doing so, even said "I told you it wouldn't fit". It fit. Finally she was also rudely telling us that the pre-filled fuel was an opportunity to save money, given the other gouging going on I was apprehensive but agreed to her suggestion. We pre-paid for half a tank at an advertised rate per L well below local areas, however the system isn't based on each vehicles fuel capacity so really is another opportunity to rip you off. We returned it with more fuel than required and were still charged $30 to fill it up. To their credit Red Spot did refund this particular charge, but only after I made a complaint explaining it.

Only issue is we were clearly told on the top dog cover we were covered for tolls by the desk attendant. His words were ‘Go through as many rolls as you want, they are covered by the top dog policy’ only to get a bill 7 days later! Should have got that statement in writing!!!

really dishonest unethical company with dodgy practices. they underwrite car companies like Enterprise rent a car, took our damage liability of $3850 despite the amount agreed to being $2750 and are refusing to send through the final repair report so we cannot finalise the claim from our insurance company. Their excuse is that they are awaiting for the cyclist at fault to make payment which is ridiculous because they have ALREADY taken our money.
The car was perfect, the service ok! No actual gps data.
Always tried to help me with my car - especially once when I had more people to carry than I had realised!
