Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.
My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon.
This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY.
If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD.
On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.
Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK.
The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I VISITED MY LOCAL POST OFFICE SUNBURY ROAD LONGBRIDGE THIS MORNING AND WAS SERVED BY A LOVELY YOUNG MAN CALLED GUPS, I HAVE BEEN TO THIS POST OFFICE MANY TIMES AND HE IS ALWAYS CHEERFUL SMILING AND VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL, THANK YOU GUPS
Ashamed of our post office. Royal mail! The Queen would be ashamed to have her face on your stamps. I will go out of my way to use every and any delivery company other than yours after the way you have treated honest, hard working people. It's the people at the top that have hidden this and allowed the thiis disgraceful treatment of sub post office masters. Put them in jail, they are the criminals! Their treatment brings me to tears.
I told them that they had taken my recorded delivery package to the wrong/different address, and they said they would look into it but told me that although their number dyslexic employee had made an error they refused to accept liability & told me to get a refund from the person who sent me it (that had done no wrong) Luckily an honest homeowner brought it to me 9 days later whilst walking their dog. How can you trust an organisation that is set up like this? Mr Bates?
I raised a complaint on 27th November as a parcel had gone missing due to a mistake on the post office part and as a result I had to refund the buyer.
The post office agreed to send me a £20 voucher to my email which was never received, I have tried to contact numerous people to get this resolved but no one replies, the phone number is fake, you can't speak to a person via that phone number as whichever option you select it send you to an automated message.
Just post directly via the Royal mail app as it's cheaper and they are much better service.

This is the most unprofessional, unpleasant Post Office ever the gentleman that runs it is so rude and unhelpful. I Stopped going there years ago but was forced to go due to my favorite one (Carr Rd) Being Blocked off.

Yet again, the Royal Mail have failed to collect a parcel at the arranged time.
I had arranged for the parcel to be collected from my porch, so that whether I was in or not it could be collected.
Left the parcel in the porch at 10am. I was in the kitchen and can always hear the usual insistant loud knocking when couriers want to not be kept waiting. Nothing.
Have just found an email claiming the post office couldn't collect because I was not in! Parcel still sat in the porch still waiting to be collected as arranged....
Usually on those rare occasions when a parcel is actually collected at the correct time, I receive a weeks worth of mail, because we only get mail deliveries or twice a week here, you get letters dated up the a week before they arrive....but today no mail.
I don't think anyone came to the house at all, and this email was just an cover up.
Outdated service and appalling service from the business leaders
I recently went into my local PO to check the cost of postage for a large letter containing artwork that I produced. They were very helpful and efficient and said two first class stamps would cover the cost. I stuck the stamps on and left the letter with them.
That is when things started to go wrong! the letter which I had written Do Not Bend on arrived over a week later in a poor state, damp and crumpled.
The Post Office is an outdated and poorly managed business that has no place in modern society, it is also in control of it's own destiny, I feel so sorry for the employees who must be ashamed of the company they all work hard for.
I'm sure they will get jobs with a modern business that will take over this appalling shambles that is evident.
I called into my local Post Office, Uttoxeter, to renew my driving licence.
The staff were very helpful, in fact, I didn't have to do anything, but sit for the photo, and pay.
